[NEW HARDEST] Tower of Inevitable Failure (JToH)
i got a new keyboard so it may sound a bit different, Ok thats it
fails:
1-5: a lot (these floors were my main loopfails for a while)
6: probably around 5
7: also probably around 5
8: 3

practice: 3.5 hours maybe
attempts: ~5 hours (305 minutes)
final time taken: ~8.5 hours
rating of ToIF: 6.5/10
it started off pretty enjoyable, but it quickly turned tedious and boring, then turned even worse. i took a break from jtoh entirely, and after coming back to grinding, it was pretty fun again (wow, shocker). it would've been around an 8/10 if it wasn't for the hellish grind in the beginning.
also the trusses dropped me off way too much 😤😤😡😠🤬🤬😠😡🤬😤🤬😤😤😤🤬🤬😡😤🤬😡😠🤬💢💢💢😤😡😠😤😤😠💢

Thats definitely a step up from parkour legacy, now, vertigo is much much more complicated to climb and the indoor sections are very cool as well
you said gearless but you need zipline hook
the video was recorded when reborn was in 1.11, and back then you didnt need any gears to be able to use ziplines. so yeah this is just impossible to do gearless now lol

just springboard on the fence, springboard on the door, then the rest is pretty simple you perform a springboard by holding space and letting go of movement btw

if you look above the momentum bar, youll see a red arrow appear when i do the hcb, that means i did a **wallclimb** i did the hcb by cancelling the wallclimb very quickly, then looked towards the right, try it yourself

yep, now you have to buy a gear from derek to be able to use ziplines, rendering this challenge impossible in 1.2+

This run doesn’t count because you used zip line in 2:20. A level 1 wouldn’t have zip line unless they bought something.
the zipline change is NEW (1.2), this video was done in 1.11, youd know that if you read the title genius
im such an idiot. they added a zipline gear u need it to use ziplines. AND I CANT IM STUCK AND %SPAWN WONT WORK RAGGGGGGH
You can get back still by going all the way down in settings and pressing return to spawn

you can no longer use ziplines gearless with the new update (1.2), you need the zipline hook now and i dont think you can make it up without using the zipline LOL

Well, actually, climbing this is pretty easy. The only parts where you can get troubles is the two last one (I don't really count the corridors with glass doors before elevator as the actual part. More suitable for transition)

What does "Momentum Usage" do like actually?
momentum increases depending on what level you are, starting at level 1 and ending at level 20 the momentum usage setting is basically like choosing which level the momentum should be at, without resetting your level or anything

I believe the white numbers are the XP gained from the combo. The red numbers are the multiplier of XP gained. They increase as you run around more parts of the map.

i usually just jump down from the top and grapple onto a zipline, but you can also use %spawn and wait 5 mins

it requires a bit of skill and practice if you still cant do it, i suggest getting grappler and ideally glove too

6:20 it's literraly impossible for me when I have insane lag...
this video helped a lot; i climbed to the top of vertigo at level 4, and got stuck after the elevator section, so i watched a few other videos on how to climb it, and they all used wall kick. didnt even occur to me that you could just use the little pushback thingy when you tap wallclimb to get a similar effect. thanks a bunch!

wallrun, turn to the other wall, hcb (horizontal wallboost), then wallrun again to do a hcb simply look towards the wall, tap space and release as quickly as you can, then look towards the direction you wanna gain speed in. tapping space quicker = more speed
