Friendly advice from a 3 time Grand Champion. From observing your video, I noticed that you are way too passive even tho you art really that good at it (I'm not trying to be disrespectful) I suggest if you do decide to play passive, i recommend predicting where the ball is going to go. For example, say for instance your opponent is stalling and is bringing the ball to the bottom part of your goal. Let's assume you are on the top part of your goal. Obviously, you would flip down by initiative, but most of the time this puts you at a disadvantage due to things like stalling. 50/50's. So, a better way to defend would be to fly into the ball he is stalling with and just put the bottom of your car on the ball (pancake it). This allows you to slow down his stall, potentially mess him up and give you an opening to go offensive. Also from the video, i also noticed that you tend to double commit, which means to follow your teammate to try to shoot the ball at the same time. While this may sometimes work out of sheer luck or bad opponents, most of the time it doesn't work, as seen in all three of your games. So what i suggest is that you take turns with your teammate with shooting the ball. You might be wondering how you can communicate with your teammate without saying a word, but it's very easy. At kickoff, the point where you want your teammate to go, as if you're passing the ball, very few people might not follow the arrow movement you give them but as you progress into upper ranked games every doe it. this allows you to have both an offensive and defensive part of the team. and last but not least, this includes two problems in one. while i notice you can do stalls, you don't know how to aim the ball; I'm assuming that this is because you haven't played for some time, so i just recommend practicing shooting since it should come back to you in a matter of minutes. the second part is that i noticed you never flip down when you have a flip and the ball is nowhere near you. in my opinion, i would say that's not really good if you are trying to get back to defend if you miss a shot, so just kind of keep that in your subconscious to flip down sometimes. That's all the advice i have for you, if you implement this into your gameplay you'll be so much better. Nice commentary and have a nice day.
