    How about selectivity towards different metals? I’m trying to recycle vanadium from a mixed solution with V(V) and Fe(III) in order for it to be reused as a flow cell reagent, but they seem to either come out as solid together or both stay in the solution.

      Chelates in solvent extraction. Can't explain more but I worked at a refinery where we were selectively extracting Cu from a solution with other dissolved metals. We used an organic extractant that selectively extracted Cu . The selectivity was 2000 Cu: 1 Fe..

    I have a doubt in the VAT leaching process As per your mentioned example of gold using sodium cyanide(0.01%) and using lead nitrate U said we used lead nitrate to minimize the consumption of cyanide in the reaction Won't that form lead cyanide complex ? Which would consume the cyanide and not let the formation of gold cyanide
