So we did not get to see the entire place because we went to that water falls first when it should be the last part (exit) If we went on the top part first then we could have seen and taken pictures of that iconic view. However, by the time we were done with the water falls thing the staff were already placing rope barriers to prevent people going up again

@BoredGaymer thanks for your reply. We are going to Japan I'm 2 weeks from Australia. Will be in Kyoto end of October. Was planning on visiting Kiyomizu-dera @3pm. Hopefully not too crowded 😬

Hi. We rented a car via the driver of the van (that the resort hired to pick us up at the airport) Your resort can actually help you book a rent-a-car, however, if you book outside sometimes it is cheaper. Dont forget to bring your driver's license and 1 additional valid ID since the car rental will temporarily hold on to your ID until you return the car. They will ask for a 1 day deposit/advance. plus it is required to return the car with a full tank of gas (even if you got it not full) Otherwise they will keep the deposit.
