My new car! 2024 CT4-V Blackwing reveal
I have a lot of things I want to do to this car but my priority is my family. Patreon proceeds are dedicated to funding my hobbies which will all be documented here.
patreon.com/MunkieBunz3
In my personal opinion, the CT4-V Blackwing is the best bang for the buck daily drivable racecar that you can bring your family in. I feel it's better than the #M3 and #M4 because it's less expensive and has better shifter feel. You also get a free racing session. Stay tuned for more! Feel free to ask questions!

    This is, by far, the best video I have seen on Camry hybrid battery fan maintenance, however it includes unrequired steps for just the filter which is what most need. Yours was clean as will be for most 2012--2017 models unlike older models without a filter and thus have a dirty fan. 2018+ put the filter and battery under the rear seat.

Then those panels have a life expectancy of about 10-15 years. Will you break even before they die or will you be constantly in debt? learn math. 107 MPG-E is a set of calculations to try to put EV efficiency into terms most people understand. Higher cost for electricity affects MPG-e but does not affect miles/kwh or watthours per mile. A calculation everyone should use is cents per mile. My ICE truck is 34 cents per mile, ICE minivan 20 cents per mile, and my EV's cost 1 cent per mile. The point of the video is that if you drive an EV like a gas car, using high-priced public rapid chargers, then no, you aren't getting any fuel or cost savings.

      @munkiebunz3 6 місяців тому

      You need to look at your electricity bill. Calculate how many miles you drive, figure most EV do about 3 miles per kWh and then matg it out. For me (and a lot of people in Los Angeles), I live in an apartment so I can not charge @ home. I'm stuck with public charging. Installing a charger at home will cost thousands. Kinda negating the gas savings. You gain the convenience of always having a "full tank". Just your road trips will suffer. Maintenance is not much savings. No oil changes but you still have tires (more expensive than gas) and brakes. Warranty issues don't factor in until the 4th year when it's expired.

    • @salimjanmohamed9337
      @salimjanmohamed9337 6 місяців тому

      @@munkiebunz3 yeah we did the math. We went from paying $100/ week for gas to $25/week for electricity and not having to attend the dealership for repairs and maintenance. We just plug in to a dryer plug with the adapter. Super easy. But our electricity is $0.14/kw roughly. In my part of canada. Hydro based. My question was getting at the fact that people need to calculate it all out as you suggest. It’s the total cost of ownership, based on your use case, that matters to see if it’s right for you. For a comparable gas car to the electric one we bought it would have been more downside plus the extra energy and maintenance costs to run it so if was a no brainer. We get 450km range per charge and may supercharge if a long trip (more than 4 hours) but we didn’t want to based our decision on that minor inconvenience given we don’t take many road trips and wanted the decision to be driven by our typical useage.

    • @tunisfishhead
      @tunisfishhead 6 місяців тому

      1st, never buy new cars. ICE or EV. Buy used after depreciation has set in. Good used EV's still have plenty of battery life (I have a 2013 and just bought a 2015, in 2023). Charge at home, and free public chargers (yes, those exist!). Our electricity provider also offers lower rates for night and weekend off-peak usage, so we charge at 2.7 and 2.4 cents per kwh during these times. Even on older cars the maintenance costs have been considerably less than our ICE predecessors. We are consistently under 2 cents per mile for fuel, saving almost $400/month on our fuel costs. Since I financed both cars at $200/mo, they are basically paying their way just in fuel savings. Not the same experience as everyone, I understand, many mention in these comments that living in apartments or homeless shelters with on-street parking is a problem, which is why everyone should spread out in individual houses, stop piling up on top of each other in cities, and find the most efficient life.

      @@salimjanmohamed9337I completely agree with you.. I was paying 75 a week in gas, 85 every three months on maintenance (I had an Acura). I got my Tesla in 2021. Two and a half years later, zero maintenances. I pay about between 20-25 a week on charging. I supercharger at .30 cents kw (7am-12pm). I only road trip a few times I have gotta lucky with some free charging. But yea sometimes it's like I seen it at .56kw cents.. but I will only pay that one road trip.... But overall it's been great and cheaper than gas.

    That’s just for aerodynamics to improve range. Take them off and they have wheels under. They look pretty decent for stock wheels too imo

      I feel like there's a better way to have good range without being a cheap piece of garbage that rattles along as you drive.

    Hey munkiebunz3, do you have an email address at which we could contact you regarding this video? We would be interested to discuss a license to use this video if this is generally possible? (i.e. via email) :) Cheers, Felix

    I've never heard of anyone getting motion sick from driving a Tesla. Maybe you need a better tin foil hat?

      Get out from under the rock you live under & reach out to meet more than the 5 people you know. Social media followers don't count. Try to find friends who will actually do things for you like help you move.
