I like your take on this. I would love for you to do an interview with the writer. I've seen him appear on Black Comic Lords and Blerd Without Fear. You're an informed reader with a different opinion and as I think back, I see these are men writing her and it all made sense to me. But your take on it as a Black woman I think needs to be examined for the good of the story.

I have to say I like your review, and I too was completely and absolutely shocked at the ending of this issue. I've been reading Batman since 1972 and I don't think in all of that time I've been as surprised at the outcome as I was with this... talk about not seeing it coming but on the other hand I was kind of disappointed because Jim Gordon as long as I've been reading is a very important character to me and I really don't like to see him tainted in this manner, it seems very out of character for Jim Gordon which also fuels my shock. Jim Gordon has always come across as much much smarter than this and to point a gun at Batman of all people just does not add up at all. I certainly hope there is something that we're not seeing that will explain Jim Gordon's behavior because none of it makes any sense .
