Tackle Industries 10’ 6” XH Muskie rod, ...full cork grip.. … it's a beauty…and of course, if you buy a new rod you also need a new reel…. like, ... I Don't have enough of them.. Lol🤣 I end up buying a rod and a reel every month… Can't decide.…..Tranx 500 or Lexa 500…… what is one to do…???? There's something to be said about the Lexa 400 I have and been using, ... It's one of the smoothest reels ever…hands down..! 👍😎👌

Nice fish but l can give u a couple tips. Not to be a dick but just useful info. When handling a green fish w that lure that has 2 trebles u need to be more careful than u were. U couldve easily got a hook in your finger. And when measuring fish on your board its much better to butt the head end of fish on the blunt end rather than tail

What reel size are you running? I'm waiting on a lexa 300 right now and i'm debating on whether to run 250ish yards of 30# of 180ish yards of 40#. I'm assuming below 200 for large tarpon like those is too little of line?

Awesome catch!! What size is your pole that broke reeling in that monster snook? We are going to the Palm Beach and will be using two older graphite poles, a 9ft 15-40 lb heavy and 9ft 20-50 lb heavy. Will these be strong enough for Snook in the West Palm Beach area? Any recommendations on great places to fish for snook in that area? We were thinking of fishing off the jetty that is just right outside of the Marriott resort there. We will not have a boat, just fishing on the beach, docks or jetty. What kind of line do you use?
