I think one of the show's biggest problems that no one talks about is how the show will sometimes assume the viewer saw the original show in detriment of its own story Example: Mai and Ti Lee, these two in the entire season do NOTHING important and are not even given names, now of course the fans of the original would know who these characters are, but new viewers who didn't see the original show would see them has pointless characters who didn't deserve screentime. There is Also the Gran Gran exposition scene that is supposed to mimic the intro of the OG show, for the fans of the original it's (supposed to be) an homage to the original show, but for the viewer (who was already given another exposition scene prior), this is an extremely redundant and pointless exposition scene. And the examples don't stop there. - Azula and Zhao are introduced by menacing music when their names ( and not their title and role) are first brought up in their introduction scene, for fans of the OG show those are recognizable characters who's roles we already know, but in the show the viewer doesn't even know their title yet, so they will be confused on why they are presented so menacingly when they didn't even do anything. - there are other examples such has Hei Bai in the OG show we know that Aanga attempt to calm him worked but in the new one, the viewer doesn't know so it leads the viewer to think this storyline is unfinished. - For Kho the face stealer the Netflix version does not explain that Ko will steal the face of anyone who shows the smallest bit of emotions which leads the moment where Aang confronts him to be less tense. - and the last example (that I admit is a bit nitpicky) Jun Liking Iroh instead of the opposite is a good gag for OG fans but not for new viewers who might confused has to why this rather young lady would like such an old man. This problem is rather stupid since the goal of this new adaptation is to introduce a new audience to avatar, yet they have a bunch of moments that you need to watch the OG to get. Which is extremely weird.

I was a Pred Season 4/5/6 and Dude as I comming Back in Season 9 Dude It started. Until today it gets out of Hand for just now over 10 Seasons.

I mean I feel like most of the criticism is from people thinking that the live action is just gonna be like the show instead of something different. However I agree with some of the criticisms, like removing Sokka’s sexism for character development, and the fact that they’ll mostly tell you the story rather than showing it to you, like it assumes you’ve seen it already for those who haven’t. Also they ruined my girl Azula😡. She so emotional and hotheaded like instead of being cruel, emotionless, and calculating. I get what their were trying to do with Ozai pinning Azula and Zuko against each other, but man I really don’t like Azula. But I also like the show, it really bring the original to life and it looks really awesome. And I liked how they made Zuko’s crew the same crew that he save from the generals plan that was really good. I have a lot more to say but it’s more of a mix feeling. The show is not bad, but it’s also not good either. There is some thing that need to be improved but it’s still solid. A 10/10 is too generous in my opinion. I would give it more of a 7/10 it good, but it could have been better, plus again they ruined Azula!!!😡

I started playing in season 9 and got my 500th pack in season 18 with only buying the battle pass and using some coins I got from it to buy a 20 pack bundle

Another thing is, it's SO hard to level up if you don't have friends to 3 stack with and get the bonus XP every game for hours or if you don't rat every game until the end to get that little extra XP. For me, it takes an hour or so to level up because obviously. I'm an average player and not some Faide maniac at the game lol. The games is absolute BALLS for the average player.

Yeah been playing since the last couple days of season 6 and haven't gotten any heirloom shards. And i've bought multiple premium battle passes(birthday presents) and still haven't gotten it. I would say around almost 400 packs I've opened. It's basically impossible if you don't spend hundreds or THOUSANDS of dollars on the game. Like the event thats going on right now you spend hundreds of dollars to get some caustic skin🤣 Or whatever it is. I don't think a lot of people realize how greedy EA is it's absolutely insane. They have a good market strategy though for the average idiot money gambler hoping to get 10 more pixels on their screen.

Oh my days, I got an heirloom at level 60, i had been playing for around 1 - 2 months at that point. I feel for yall, because my brother has still not got an heirloom and we even bought him 40 apex packs on his bday and he has opened around 360 packs, still no heirloom.

dude his video just showed in my recommended and watched it. I had to look up if he was cheating because his gameplays was pretty sus. When I saw that there was no recoil when shooting someone going a zip was befuddling. It seems impossible to have perfect recoil control a r-99 by pulling down a stick while at the same time shooting someone as they go up a zip. The lobbies had players that had no game sense.

i commented two or three times on ayex videos that hes bot lobbying. it was so obvious i was surprised by how everyone under his videos kept praising him for skill. like dude literally farmed half of the lobby with basically no one shooting him back, most people with default skins, etc.

The monetization is getting really out of hand, everything is getting more expensive by the season. I wouldn't even care about that, let the whales spend their money, but the state of the servers are absolutely horrendous. Last season half of my games were high ms/dropped packets or both. And NOBODY seems to talk about it. What is going on here?

This season one of the worst seasons so far

No but like when they revealed the main casting with I was really skeptical but everyone on the internet was saying that it's resist?!? Because I don't like the casting?!? Anyway me and my best friend are fans of the books since 10yo (we're both 15 now) and we decided to be positive about the series because "Rick is in It, and we should trust him"... And then the series starts to come out and I managed to get my dad to buy Disney+ for a month. I watched two episodes and It was... Ok. Not bad, but it wasn't THE PERCY JACKSON. When the third episode came out I didn't really want to watch it and I didn't really had time because of school. Subscription on Disney expired and I didn't really wanted to watch the rest of the show but my other friend was like "It's so good you have to watch it" and we did watch it together on her birthday in one go and after that I said that I really liked it or something but I felt really empty inside. When I was thinking about it later I came to a realisation that when I was watching the show, and after It I felt... disappointment, pure disappointment and sadness. Yes it was really rushed and I couldn't feel the relationship between the characters. And omg when I saw the actor who played Zeus, It took me a few minutes to realise that it was him. I don't have anything against the actor I even think he's good but he doesn't fit the role the role. (and I'm sorry but Hades and hell It just doesn't feel right) I'm also very sorry for my grammar, english is not my first language. (and I'm bad at grammar even in my first language)

Ranked is ridiculous, knocking a full squad or 2 early on breaks you even in gold which is wild, you don’t get any points really untill top 5 even with multiple kills. I use to be able to solo to plat but am stuck in gold 3 to 2 due to the hard point system. I have to be also lucky to not have a full pred team in my gold lobbies

I never understood the blackwashing in this show. The books already had so much diversity that wasn’t forced. There were different races, sexualities, gender identity in the magnus chase books. It was good people enjoyed it. 😂

Listen I know Rick approved the cast and all, but me personally, as a writer, if they tried to change the way my characters look, I would be downright _offended_ and mad. Character design means _so_ much. Like to give an example from the books, Annabeth's blonde hair was blonde for a reason: to show that not all blondes are dumb and break the stereotype. Same thing with my books. At the start of one of the books, both the main characters have long hair. But once the older, wiser mentor MC tells the other MC that hair holds memories, the younger one goes and shaves off half her hair rebelliously, meanwhile the older one makes a snarky joke about how she could never. This is symbolic, showing that the younger one wants to get rid of her past entirely, and the older one wants to keep it, no matter how much pain it's caused, bc pain gives you improvement. The older one also has like a REALLY hourglass shaped body and blonde hair with sky blue eyes, but again, she is _not_ dumb. She embraces the fact that she looks good and it's part of who she is, but it doesn't mean she sits on her ass all day and makes others do shit for her. The way she looks is also the reason she gets a fatal injury and passes away later on. I know I kinda started ranting about my own books there for a moment but I can never miss an opportunity to self promote. Sorry about that lmfao. But yes, character design is super important.

this exact phenomenon is one of the reasons I'm never excited for anything new that's being released by disney. it's absolutely absurd they haven't realized that virtue signaling at their audience is not a good business model. they make ridiculous casting decisions, produce a sub par film or show and then say "if you don't like it you must be racist/sexist/etc...". the first two phases of the MCU had a 100% white superhero cast (rhodie doesn't count), now that is not what's good about those movies, what makes them good is the casting being true to people's image of the character, combined with tight, entertaining scripts. notice that when disney thought white lead actors = more money, they had no problem with exclusively making blockbusters lead by white men. did they make a black widow movie when it would have made perfect sense to do so? nope. did they give nick fury any meaningful back story? nuh uh. then they tried something new, and took a risk on black panther... and people absolutely LOVED IT. but here is where disney got confused. people loved black panther because it was a GOOD MOVIE, with a great cast, sure people applauded the diversity in the film, but that's not why it succeeded. it succeeded because the story made sense, the casting made sense, the story contributed to the cinematic universe and the end result exceeded the viewers expectations. I think in the aftermath of this film, disney saw the great box office numbers the film brought in, and saw all the good press it got them and instantly made the connection that diversity = good press and $$$. in the following years disney really took to heart, the idea that diversity made fans and critics happy. like NO, good movies and shows make us happy, we don't give a shit how woke you're being, just make cohesive storylines, and if you're making an adaptation of original source material MAKE IT AS CLOSE TO THE ORIGINAL AS POSSIBLE. it honestly hurts my brain so fucking bad, that directors somehow still think that making major changes to the source material will make fans happy. it literally never does and never will. the harry potter movies did this quite well, sure they have to cut some stuff, long books squeezed into two hours, I get it. but it's true enough to the source material. now imagine all the weasleys were recast as an asian family. as readers of the books we've been told repeatedly that their entire family are redheads. because I've been reminded over and over again, that ron is a ginger, anyone with any other look, even a white kid with blonde or brown hair; that's not ron, it's just not. it pulls me out of the story every time because that's so obviously not the character that I've come to know. there are SO MANY examples of great movies with lead actors from minority groups, and black panther is the ONLY ONE released by disney: beef, into the spider verse, everything everywhere all at once, get out, to name a few. notice how in none of these, did a large group of fans complain about the casting... because we're not racist. instead of actually taking a risk on an original idea with a non white male lead, they'd rather take the safe route of mooching off an existing fansbase, throw in a diverse cast where it makes no sense, so they get guaranteed viewers and political correctness points, all while releasing a sub par final product. the sad part is that when disney makes one of these nonsense casting decisions it brings the conversation back to race, it puts pressure on and attracts negative attention to the badly cast actors that have done nothing wrong, and it reminds everyone of our differences. morgan freeman said it best when asked "how are we going to get rid of racism?" his response: "stop talking about race". and here we are talking about it because disney decides to make political statements with their casting choices.

I like the game when it works but i am so glad i stopped playing it about a year ago. i don't miss it at all and i don't even have it installed anymore. Its the same shit every season. Sadly the corporate greed will kill the game like many others.

I recently started reading the books and I fell head-first in love with them (I'm in the HOO series now) but the series was such a disappointment because of the way Rick bashed the movie with so much force and supported the series as if it was so much better. also, the way Rick completely ignores the fact that their appearances add to their personalities in a way for example Athena's kids are described to have grey eyes but let's leave that. the series itself is horribly paced and as someone who has watched most of it I can confirm that they take plots that are only seen in books like the titan's curse and stuff it in the first book any way I am so happy someone is finally calling this out it's been on my mind for way too long

instead of really fixing the game EA be like EA : " oh is our game bad? here we just release a new heirloom you can get it just as cheap as 800$ "
