You need to slow down so we can follow along
Unfortunately I cannot make another video. Car was sold a few months after i posted this.
Why is it there are absolutely no videos ever on 1996 Cadillac DeVille? My dashboard is all electronic, I don't have passenger heat settings like that.
I have a 94 deville if I remember correctly you have to hold the off button and fan up
@@onedeep9034 I can't remember the exact video I found this at, but yeah, you're right. It was (heat) up and off button. Wait for the screen to go wonky, then clear itself out before releasing both buttons. Appreciate it, guy.
Repair shops already as hell. Now they can't scam ppl. Lmao
Good job
Great information to learn about. I do have a question, and hoping you may be able to help. I have a 1995 Eldorado that somehow became stuck in 2nd gear. It drove and shifted normal, and then one day it wouldn't downshift into first gear. Now just recently, it is stuck and won't shift into any gears other than reverse and 2nd gear. Would clearing the codes for either the TCS, or ABS fix the problem? Hope to hear from you soon!
SynysterShadow Sorry brother I didn’t see your comment till just now. You could try clearing the codes and see what it’ll do. I’ll be honest. I sold this car about October because I got tired of it tearing up lol. Pretty complicated for it’s time. And still outrageous to work on now.
But it sounds like your transaxle is dying. That or maybe something’s broken on the inside. Could be a shift solenoid of some kind.
My eldorado does that when the voltage regulator acts up, usually when its cold.
Very interesting, didn't know they had this feature. Pretty cool when you're destitute for a code reader. Too bad it can't graph live data lol
