Also, she said it took more than an hour to get to the cornfield, but only a few minutes to get back. She is making stuff up. The sanitary pad thing is more believable. And speaking of sexual assault, that is a huge issue in the US military as well. Maybe it's not a good idea to have female soldiers under male command (or even to have female soldiers at all).
