Lebron will dominate that era. He has the same size and strength of Karl Malone 6'8" 270 but a lot faster, more athletic and far more skilled. If Lebron plays in the slower and lesser skilled 80s and 90s era, he'll be trucking his way to the basket and he'll be the guy with the highest basketball IQ. He can do whatever he wants.

Jordan has better overall stats, beats LeBron in every major analytical metric, and beats him in accolades. LeBron has more career totals cause he played longer than Jordan. LeBron also has more inexcusable failures. Like forming a superteam and then causing the superteam to lose the championship due to being incompetent and a liability. Jordan never had that.

My friend Jordan has 10 scoring titles and the highest PPG in the regular season and Playoffs, that's why he is considered the greatest scorer. Wilt has 7 scoring titles. Wilt led the Playoffs in scoring once, and Jordan did it 10 times. No other player has been able to dominate the scoreboard like Jordan. It's that simple.

@ LeBron has lead the playoffs in ppg 3 times & totals points 1ce. Lead the regular season in ppg 1ce and totals 0 times. Regular season assist total and assists per game once. Playoffs lead assists totals 6 times and assists per game 1 ce. So he has lead the regular season & playoffs in points & assist categories 12 times. For context MJ did that 21 times in the regular season alone. Playoffs 18 times. So in total he lead in 39 scoring categories. Lebron lead is 5 scoring categories and 7 assist categories. So it’s clear who the greatest scorer is..

I don't care who the GOAT is, that's just a publicity stunt to get more views just like you said. Now I do know one thing, facts and the facts are LeBron never dominated his era, he always comes short when he's needed the most, he puts 0 effort in the games, only standing around waiting for an easy lay up or dunk, and has horrible antics, complains all the time, blames his team, his coach, or anything really that takes heat form him... I don't recall MJ ever EVER flopping, resting in the middle of the court, blaming his team, or Kobe, or Malone, or Bird, or Magic, etc etc etc.... As I said, I don't care who the GOAT is but I do know one thing, LeBron is not even a respectable player, he's a full on diva chasing something that will never be achieved. The only way there can be a next "GOAT" is if we get a player made in the old way, respectful of the game, hard working, no missing games, no load management, a full on BALLER, I don't know if old generations where better players ( I don't think they where) but I do know they where way better human beings, and they where people to use as an example, today's players are just a bunch of divas, tiktokers and influencers that care more about clout and money than any respect for the game that gives them everything they have, and that's why there won't be any new "GOAT" any time soon, until somebody breaks the mold from today's entitled crybabies... Sorry for the rant, just my thoughts.

You need to go back and watch the 2011 finals. The reason Lebron and the Heat took that L was because even though they were the better team and should have won, they had the collective heart of lima bean. That L solidified Lebron as always being in the shadow of Jordan. GOATs can lose but they can never lose like a bit$h and that’s exactly how Lebron looked taking that L.

The following year he had to add Ray Allen, someone who ALSO had championship experience with Boston, who in fact was the soul reason they won the next year. Along with a incredible rebound by Chris Bosh, and also the heroics of Dwayne Wade thru out the series. Lebron James single handedly almost ruined the series if it wasn't for the rest of the team. The current generation has the benefit of recency bias, hindsight, and a sports media that desperately wants the new generation to eclipse the old because it's great for ratings. The GOAT debate is simple - when a player is active did they do enough to convince enough people that they're the GOAT? There's nothing unfair about it. A lot of old heads didn't want to let Montana go because he was 4-0 and more skilled at the position than Brady, but eventually Brady did enough to convince enough people that he was the GOAT. Mahomes has the same exact task it's just that bar is set higher now because he has to eclipse Montana then Brady. That doesn't necessarily mean win more than Brady, but winning is something that can't be discounted. No amount of 2nd place trophy's will equate to a 1st, that's just not how sports work. MJ is the GOAT because he has the best resume and convinced enough people during his time that he was the GOAT and since then not enough people have been convinced otherwise in favour of another player. LeBron had all of the aforementioned benefits and did not get it done, it's that simple that you don't even need to get into the details once you understand it.

It’s simple. The league allowed hand-checking along with the Jordan Rules and Mike was still getting 30 or better with 10 scoring titles. LeBron against big men didn’t dominate until they instituted the 3 second rule and then there’s no touching now. LeBron came back against the 73-9 Warriors, but couldn’t beat no iterations of the KD Warriors when down 3-1 or 3-0. Y’all assume LeBron is better because you see his stature and yet never talk about how he accomplished his career vs how Jordan accomplished his. MJ was a killer and would destroy LeBron 1vs1 because LeBron ain’t trying to be embarrassed. MJ did it when the rules were allowed to destroy him and he still was able to go 6-0 with 2-3-peats. No matter how you slice it, LBJ ain’t did that no matter how bad he padded his stats. Currently his Lakers teams haven’t won 50 games or their division since 2020, but they’re always the favorite to come out of the West. Coaches back then would hold LeBron accountable and he ain’t having that and that’s the end of it. Quality over quantity. Longevity means nothing if you don’t win the ring in the end.

It's not that LeBron "wouldn't survive " in the 90's . Obviously he has the physical gifts to thrive in any era. But the 90's in particular was the era of the dominant big men. Guys like Olajuwon, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing and Shaquille O'Neal were competing for MVPs every season. LeBron is 5/16 against Tim Duncan in the playoffs and lost in the playoffs to prime Dwight Howard. He has struggled in the past against teams that have dominant low post defenders and teams that can clog the lane to the basket. The NBA implemented the defensive three second rule in the early 2000's and outlawed hand-checking. These rule changes benefitted LeBron's game. Had he played in the era where he had to compete against most of the top big men in NBA history, with lose that were less conducive to his style of play, his career acheivements might look a little different.

There was never a debate. Jordan is waaaaaayyyyyyy better than Lebron. Lebron would need 9 scoring titles, 4 all defensive first teams, 3 league steals leaders, 2 more championships, 2 more finals MVPs, a DPOTY, a scoring title and DPOTY at the same time, 1 more league MVP, 3 more PPG average, a higher PER in the regular season, playoffs, and the finals, and about 50% less turnovers, just to TIE Jordan. It’s not even close. Jordan is in another stratosphere than Lebron.

LeBron is nowhere near the best player in his era. He’s weak and got no basketball skills but size. Noone travels more than that fool. And the flopping is just pathetic. He smashes into players for clear offensive fouls and gets freethrows. Unbelievable!!!!
