I didn't know anything about this song until about 2 weeks ago. Every time I hear it, I cry. My brother passed away in 2013. Our father in 2015. I have kids with every day struggles. This song is so damn beautiful and the meaning is true. No matter what, there will always be a symptom of being human. Thank you Shinedown. Y'all are amazing!!

They are the best songwriters. I love their lyrics. So meaningful and so many dimensions to it. Almost everyone can relate to them. And the front man....amazing vocals.
