I believe the strip on the inside of the case is a thin piece of copper for heat dissipation. I saw some threads where people sandwich a thin heatsink in between to help out but not sure if that works

Love my onn 4k pro but there's draw backs from it. Some apks won't play and work. But over all love mine. Ocean streamz work for live tv only but worth having 1000+ free cable channels plus sports and other adult content. Smart tube was working well for add free youtube till Google changed there youtube programming.

Bought 1 today at Wal-Mart. Won't work. Brand new. Pretty disappointing.

Bought two of these a couple of years ago. I am in Houston Texas and as of yesterday morning we are without power I broke them out charged both of them up even though they came pre-charged and I got roughly 60 to 90 minutes at full brightness as the charge diminishes the brightness diminishes.

I have one, and I also have an Nvidia Shield tv, and I am very impressed with the Onn Pro. The only thing I didn't like was that the remote didn't have a backlight.

the Shield finally has competition

The Ethernet port is only 10/100 and I saw another video the other day where the host had a USB hub with a gigabit Ethernet jack and by connecting the hub to the Onn device and an ethernet cable to the hub's RJ45 jack, he was able to get a higher throughput via the Onn. Nice if you've got an internet connection that goes higher than 100 Mbps. With my Starlink as my ISP, it's not going to be an issue for me. I just wanted to pass on the idea.

It's still not showing up on walmart's site. I am looking forward to it.

So how really is it cause I'm thinking of get n 1 I love the onn streaming boxes I use myself .
