What a Broadway classic! Awesome melody and lyrics. Marvin Hamlisch gifted the world with so many beautiful songs. "Through The Eyes Of Love" is my favorite.

The first time I heard of Disneyland was when I was reading Part of My World by Jodi Benson. It's so fascinating to learn about the musical Smile and how it was put together, and when I learned of the song Disneyland, I was very curious. And given that Jodi Benson herself and Howard Ashman worked on the musical as well as the song, it's no wonder they did The Little Mermaid after that. Now that I have listened to Disneyland, all I can say that there's magic in that song, and even though Howard himself is no longer with us, he would be proud that, this song itself, even though Smile didn't do well, lived on for us to listen to.
