If you are talking about the skip to unload the room by crouching and aiming next to the barrel they fixed it back in January so sadly its not possible anymore (Unless you know of a way to do it on the up to date patch). They added cutscene skips in a later update so I play with the cutscene skip version since it saves a ton of time skipping those cinematics. If you do know a way to do the glitch on the cutscene skip version that would save a lot of time though

Most glitches in the run you need at least 120 FPS to do, so if you are on console they are almost all out of the question. The skip at 24:30 should work on 60 FPS / console and the skip in Colony to skip the Two-Head fight at 1:06:00 might work on console but its really shit to do even on PC (You might notice that I restart my game to make it easier). As for actually learning the strats we have tutorial videos in the Callisto speedrunning Discord server, its usually pretty quiet in there but someone is always around to answer questions if you have any. No, everyone does it because not only is it faster but makes it more fun to play since it eliminates downtime where much progress in the speedrun isn't being made. The timer is paused during loading (so people on bad computers aren't at a disadvantage), but even if it wasn't often times its still faster since it fully recharges your stamina so you don't have to slow down and wait, it can also progress certain scenes faster.

After posting this video I found some additional unused stuff related to this in the English localization files. Text for an objective: Objective: Crawl through the Gravel Crusher Subtitle text and voice lines for this from Blake: SEGameplayHints_Blake_33: Oh, fuck me. SEGameplayHints_Blake_33_1: Sure, sure. Climb through the thing that smashes rocks to gravel. Great fucking idea. I'm pretty sure you would have had to activate those generators while getting chased and then crawl through the gravel crusher to progress, but that's all I could find about this. Also, some of the early voice lines for other things are just text to speak instead of actual voice acting so having the actor of Blake actually voice them makes me think it was canned sorta late into development

@@Symystery Plus, the way the level is set up doesn't make sense. Your path is directly away from the crusher. That's why I suggested the alternate of having more Heretics emerge from it. Imagine setting down to breathe, only to suddenly hear a machine roar to life, and Heretics crawling out.....

@@Symystery By the way, would you be able to make a video about the cut areas in The Mines with the elevator and generator?

I probably won't make one about that, I couldn't find any cut audio or text relating to it. I know it exists because you can get to the generators out of bounds and pull them, but it does nothing (I've done it). I believe Slippy Slides has a video showing it off.
