My old RPR with the Shaw loves Eley Target both me and my son who now has it have won matches with that rifle ammo combination

I have one of these close to fourteen years old now. Put it in a Boyds Tacticool Stock with a Hawke Eclipse 4-16x50 scope on top. I tried all the target ammo luckily CenterX and others were a lot cheaper back then I finally decided if it was over ten cents a round it didn't get stuck in this Savage. Mini Mags and CCI AR Tactical are the premium stuff it gets the rest is whatever goes bang. Mini Mags and AR Tactical are about a dime a pop. My second choice is Norma Tac 22 I have nine cents a pop invested in it. I changed the spring in the Accutrigger it's down to around two pounds if I slam the bolt too hard the safety blade will block the sear and it won't fire. It's only happened a couple of times. Usually shoot mine with a suppressor no tack driver but feeds and ejects every time worth every penny of what I paid. Save that expensive stuff for a target rifle.
