Of course Muslims should not be discriminated against, but what about political Islam? Look at Indonesia, a democracy which was a tolerant society until "political Islam" recently gained prominence and power. Now sex outside marriage has been criminalised over the whole country and a couple of provinces have adopted Sharia law. In these privinces people are flogged for transgressions of Islamic law such as: being gay, unmarried people of the opposite sex hugging. Even non-muslims are punished for transgressions such as eating publically during the day in Ramadan. This is in a democracy. Is it Islamophibic to find Islamic law abhorent? While being loving towards Muslims?

This video kept showing up as a recommendation, so I finally watched it today. Great to hear so many different attorneys' stories of how they started a solo practice. This was an excellent presentation. Thank you. What is happening in states like Florida, Texas, Arkansas, Utah, Arizona, this is scary, scary times for our country. Horrific history repeats itself. Very sad to see our neighbors and marginalized people, who don't fit the white privilege mold, being discriminated against. Yet those same people scream about their "constitutional rights" to not get vaccinated or wear a mask or continue to hoard guns. They can scream for themselves, but deny basic human rights to others.
