Lets put this into practicality, yes the Hippo did have a brawn advantage, as well as the muscle, yes the two are in home turf, but the Sucho did have the height and size advantage thus the animal can get a good grip, keep the hippo underwater, just have to outlast the hippo, however I did like Chaos theory doing the "Modern animals interacting with the dinos, such as lions preying on a Dimomrphodon (RIP little guy), or with dinotracker, some lions hunting a pachy.

Suchomimus is a fish eater and will lose every time against a better equipped theropod with bigger jaws and a bulkier build.

At realistic sizes, a big bull hippo would had a better chance to win against Suchomimus than against Majungasaurus based on current material.

Size aside, the Suchomimus was already fatigued from fighting the hippo and the Majungasaurus was fairly fresh.

It's so strange that Camp Cretaceous is still portraying Spinosaurus as an (unrealistic) powerful T-rex killing machine when Chaos Theory is underestimating the strength of other spinosaurs. I mean, Suchomimus didn't even have weak little legs!

I find it funny one couldn’t accept a dinosaur that was being held back by a modern animal: the Hippo, who is dangerous on its own 😂

I never really thought about it being a juvenile or sub adult Suchomimus I just thought the Majungasaurus was massively oversized... But now thinking about the Sucho compared to the hippo it fought, the Sucho did seem a bit small.

Majungasaurus is too overrated in jw franchise, SUCHOMIMUS didn't even get to have credits, it's not even loved properly.

Hit take, but i don't believe that a suchomimus (at least at the size displayed in the show) would have been able to beat a hippo, especially one that big and pissed off.

I would recommend not using the AI overview; It tends to give the wrong information or the wrong answers a good amount of the time. Sometimes when I try to look up any kind of information on zoology or paleontology, The overview tends to either give the wrong answer or outdated information

Realistically, this would be like the JP3 Spinosaurus vs Tyrannosaurus fight but on a smaller scale.

It’s the rex Spino all over again but worse yeah rex realistically wins (and should have won that fight since he got the neck bite first) but this was not even ok 😭 sucho is MUCH bigger & heavier realistically unlike rex v Spino which the sizes of the time were extremely close this isn’t all it took was an oversized majunga to delete a sucho without a 2nd thought

Reasons why Suchomimus would win: Reason #1 it’s bigger. Reason #2 it’s bigger. Reason #3 it’s bigger. Reason #4 Suchomimus is an arm wrestling champion. Reasons Majungasaurus would win: Reason #1 Classic Jurassic Park shenanigans. Reason #2 Moo Deng hired a hitman.

Lol people are so mad, finding excuses. Majungasarus clearly won because it was oversized, including its increased biting power from being larger and heavier than irl majungasarus.. its body was also bigger than the chaos theory sucho in girth as well, when you compare the side view. Majungasarus was just clearly more modified and aggressive. And even if it was a tired sucho I'd still give it to the majungasarus. Just more difficulty. And that first bite would NOT have killed the majungasarus right away, it doesn't have the necessary crushing force, despite it being in the Jurassic franchise.. That majungasarus was literally way more robust then the sucho there, It's not like the jp3 spino. Lol that majungasarus also had a thicker neck then the sucho in that fight, so that wouldn't have worked anyway.

While suchomimus does have a stronger bite, it’s jaws weren’t designed for crushing, and the bite force getting weaker tbe closer you go to the end of the jaws. Considering suchomimus mainly catches fish, it’s unlikely it would the neck of a majungasaurus even considering the size difference. While majungasaurus was built for crushing the necks of sauropods like rapetosaurus which was both larger and heavier then a suchomimus, which makes it more like for majungasaurus to be able to jump up and latch on tightly to the throat of the suchomimus. But I do agree that the suchomimus would be able to use its long arms and claws to keep the majungasaurus off of its neck and inflict enough damage until the majungasaurus is either driven away or taken out.
