BABYMETAL - BXMXC (Guitar Cover)
Most BABYMETAL songs are hard AF. Thankfully, my favorite song of theirs is not.

Well, so this song is actually very special to me. It is the first song I've ever learned, played in the first guitar I've ever played (which my mom got for me when I was in junior high). Not perfect, but I did have a blast playing through the song @avengedsevenfold - nightmare Set-up: Modified Ibanez GIO something. Archetype Gojira Archetype Mateus Asato Razer Kiyo PRO

So after years of playing this song, I decided to give it a go... It's not perfect, but I still got it. This is the first song I've ever learned. Nightmare by @avengedsevenfold first try, no bs (not perfect, tho). Equipment: Ibanez RGEW521ZC Archetype Gojira Cannon M50 Mark II #ibanezguitars #guitarcover #rockuniversity #Lickwars#RiffWars #dimarzio dimarziopickups #avengedsevenfold #synisterg...
That one Riff you've been practicing for weeks... And you still suck at it.

So this is how my dream guitar sounds like?

Ok, so ever since I watched the music video for "Got The Time" on MTV like 20 years ago, I've always wanted a Jackson USA guitar... However, for most of my life that just didn't seem like a possibility at all, because, well those beauties are expensive as hell. Anyway, some 20 years later, I finally brought a Jackson SL2MG made in USA. By far the highest quality guitar that I currently own. So,...
That one lick your thought you were never going to learn.

I thought I was never going to be able to learn this riff... Apparently, with enough time and patients, you can. Saucy (intro) - Polyphia.

I'm looking to buy one soon aswell, it looks awesome, the only thing is that i prefer SD's over EMG's so i'm waiting for NAMM to see if they'll release some of these with SD's .. and no floyd
Yeah, it is an absolute beauty. I don't really like EMGs either and the Floyd Rose is fun but really impractical, but this model was on sale at my local Jackson dealer. The final price was something like 1,750 USD. Totally worth it.
@@IAMXoX wow great deal... so can you "fix" emg's with a good pedal or something ? I mean, if I have no choice I'd go for EMG version but they kinda sound sterile and I like the warm big sound of JB-4 for example, or is it overthinking too much
@@domagojdomazet4250 well... They are sterile and compress, that's for sure, however you can improve it a bit by lowering the gain at the input level. Because EMG's are active, they have +9db output volume vs passive pickup. Some modelers, like my Tonemaster Pro, have an specific setting to lower the input 9db. If your connecting directly to an interface you can easily adjust the input gain. On the other hand, if your using a real Amp, you can get something like an eq pedal and place it at the start of the signal chain and then lower the output. It doesn't "fix" the character of the pickups, but it makes them more dynamic and responsive.
Same bro😅😅
What are your thoughts on the guitar? Mine arrives tomorrow. Same color but went with the hardtail.
@@ianterrygaming Flawless. No set-up required, it's a good'ol metal machine, although it's heavier than what would've like (it feels a bit over 8 lb. But I don't have a scale to measure it). The perceive quality is really high, I don't think I would find any difference between the SL2MG and a custom shop one. I'm more of an Ibanez guy, so I'm not really loving the neck profile, it feels more like a C shape than the D shape I like, it's also narrower than an Ibanez neck. As for the sound... Well, EMGs sound about the same whether they're plugged to a plank or to a PRS Private Stock. I'm not a fan usually, but I bought this guitar to play 80-90's Thrash mostly, so it is a perfect fit. However As you can hear, that is not to say EMGs don't have any versatility (they do). I'm going to be honest here, I got it for roughly 1,800 USD brand new, it was a pretty good deal, BUT I wouldn't buy it for full MSRP. For that price I would probably buy an Ibanez Prestige or maybe an E-II, not because they are better (I think they all are in the same league), but because it fits my preferences better. Overall, the guitar is a total banger, I'm pretty sure you're going to have a blast playing it!
thats still impressive. im kind of at the same point with Playing God by Polyphia.. ive been practicing it on and off since february and the main riff is still far from perfect.. just keep practicing..
