Hey, I'm no expert but from all my research it would seem that your posts are backwards (turned 180 degrees). All the lifts I see have the cables terminated at the top of the post inward facing the opposite diagonal corner. I'm not an installer so perhaps Bend Pak does theirs this way. I'm also not a big Bend Pak fan--I'm looking more at Advantage lifts. Another indicator is the lettering "Bend Pak" usually faces outward. As I research I have seen at least one reference to one installed backwards citing issues with properly locking/unlocking.

Very nice car! Did you change the light switch and did that do the job? I just bought a 1979 and all the dash lights work when pull the bezel off but they’re not be right enough to see with the bezel on. Thinking the light switch as well.

From what I understand the front tank is 16 gallons and the rear is 18 the difference comes from the float reading on the sending units so it has more to do with how worn out each is
