Often when people pray over someone individually or even in a group, the person that was prayed over or the group may feel awkward & compliment that persons prayer. For example “that was beautiful”, “wow, amazing”, etc. I feel that is unnecessary. The person praying should do so out of obedience & if we complement the praying person it may cause that person praying (or someone in the vicinity) to seek that sort of response in the future vs out of care and conviction. A simple “thank you” or further discussion around what the prayer was for is what I would suggest vs complimenting. I hope that helps clarify ☺️
People that are offended by prayer scare the crap out of me.
I couldn't have said it better myself.
lol I can understand that. Often, I will just pray for them as I walk away or not directly in front of them. Those people need the most prayer 🙏🏼

Hello Erin! As I'm reading these comments and seeing you have a smaller following I want to tell you what you are speaking is powerful and The Truth needs to come to all that will hear it. That being said BE BOLD and do not second guess yourself and worry of others opinions. You do this many times in this video. You have a calling and need to walk confidently in it. Speak what The Holy Spirit tells you to with passion and love and you will do great things! Do not worry about others for it will only be increasing the bigger you get and tougher the topics you discuss. It must be done. Do what you are called to do.

You cannot practice tongue's it is the gift of the Holy Ghost that resides in everyone who accepts Jesus Christ and let Him in... You can pray to God for wisdom and understanding on what is being said when you speak in the spirit... I am encouraged by all you have said and i respect the fact that you firstly started of by saying it is your personal experience, you cannot be sure because omly God is all knowing and like you said Tongues is the language if the spirit. But it is possible for people to be rocked with the Holy spirit and begin to speak in all manner of Tongues. Erin please read Acts 2:1-4 (The Holy spirit comes at pentacost)
@@NG_Thelioness ❤️❤️❤️
Its not the speaking in tongues that makes us pass out or convilse. Its ehen you completely surrender everything i mean everything yo hod that the holy spirit overtakes you. Thats is an amazing feeling. Worship music puts me there

It's dangerous to assume, and arrogant, that because we haven't personally experienced something that it must not be God. As if God is going to make us His standard of what He can and will do.

@becoming_proverbs31 just asking because my UA-cam account is on my phone and it can get frustrating typing long messages like this because autocorrect is stupid. Lol So, a little back story. I used to never raise my hands in worship at church. No matter how much I wanted to, I refused because I didn't want people looking at me, I didn't want to embarrass myself, I didn't want people to pay attention to me period. Around 2011 I had a revelation. I was making worship about me. I was thinking too much about me, me, me, I, I, I. Like Joseph, I was concentrated on me a long time. After that revelation my worship gradually changed and I told God he could do whatever he wanted to do with me no matter what it looked like, I wouldn't get in the way, no matter what it looked like. Shortly after that prayer, I don't remember how much time passed, I had my first experience with shaking. That was over ten years ago and some of the details are fuzzy, so I'll share the most recent experiences that happened in November and September this year. In September I went up for prayer after the word was given. I'm really sensitive to the Holy Spirit and I was already crying. Someone came up to me and started praying for me. I started to shake, hands, up and I fell off to the side. After a few minutes of it, I got up and sat down on the first row. I felt like a heavy burden had been shaken off of me and felt totally refreshed in my spirit. Later that day I realized this strong bitterness and unforgiveness towards a former co-worker who had deeply wounded me was gone. I had tried praying for her, but I just couldn't get rid of it and I knew it was coming between God and I. But when the power of God came on me earlier that day all that bitterness and forgiveness was completely gone and I realized that was why I felt clean in my spirit. And last month in November, we had a surprise guest speaker, but he was mentored by someone I've heard of before, and same thing happened. I could barely stand up straight for more than a couple seconds because the presence was so heavy. I was crying, talking to God in my head because I'm DESPERATE for a touch from God. And I don't care how foolish I look. Jesus died a public, humiliating death. If God needs to make me look like a fool to do what be needs to do in me, so be it. David danced mightily before the Lord to his clothes came off. I went to the front, crying still, and the speaker comes over with his hand outstretched over my head and says "more Lord" and I started shaking like before till I fell to the side. After several minutes I got up and went to sit down. The people I sat next to looked at me like I was crazy, but I didn't care. I felt amazing. The best I'd felt since the last time it happened. I heard the speaker say some people are getting healed, and when he said that, I knew that's what happened. I had scar that occasionally gave me pain, but over the next week the pain left and scar disappeared. It's hard to describe what it feels like, but it's sort of like when you suck your finger in a socket and you get shocked, but without the pain. The feeling is like nothing I've ever experienced anywhere else, and I've also been in deliverance ministry and have walked on properties where demons dwell (stories not for here), and the sensations are polar opposites. I'll take the shaking and looking like a fool over the presence of demons every time. It's not even a question.
Good morning 🌄
@@Ron208-m4r Good Morning to you too! ☺️
1 Corinthians 12 says there are different types of Gifts, All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. Question: can one receive the Gift of Prophecy or Healing without the gift of tounges?
@@radio73s 100% - the gifts of the Spirit are not contingent on anything other than a relationship with Jesus :)
And I will add this and will back it by scripture if you like. Always pray in Jashua's name (Jesus) Repent often for we all sin. Satan comes first, standing in the holy play pretending to be God, don't follow him. Always let YHVH (God) know you love him, talk to him often he is your heavenly father.
@@PenguinPenguin-k1r I’m with you on almost all of this but I don’t understand why you say “Satan comes first” - could you please explain what you mean by that?
@@PenguinPenguin-k1r are your referring to the anti christ who will claim to be the messiah?
@@becoming_proverbs31 Correct, yes, he will come as anti-Christ. as in instead of Christ not against Christ. The abomination of desolation that Matthew 24 spoke of and thereafter
You can't just read small bits of the scripture. This is what people do to reinforce what they think and try to validate what they are saying through cherry-picking verses. God hates this. Read below, gain wisdom and understanding. 1Co 14:1 Follow after charity and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. 1Co 14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 1Co 14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 1Co 14:4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. 1Co 14:5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying. You speaking an unknown [another language] - God is the only one that understands you in that understanding. Unknown Tongue isnt Tongues or the cloven tongue. Tongue is another language. 'They speak many tongues or many languages' Also "unknown" is in italics meaning that words was not in the manuscripts, it was added to the word. This is the tongue you think you are speaking. But you aren't as you can see. As they spoke the Cloven Tongue "Every man heard them speak in his own language." There were many tongues [languages] and many dialects. The Coming of the Holy Spirit Act 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. Act 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Act 2:5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Act 2:6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. Act 2:7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? Act 2:8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
@@PenguinPenguin-k1r thank you for your comments :) I don’t disagree with you. It may be helpful for context to check out this video: ua-cam.com/video/yNxL70JmVKE/v-deo.htmlsi=Wz7x5fCYOwtr8Lvv where I speak more about this.
@@becoming_proverbs31 Thank for sharing. I see where you are going with this but in the cause of paul he was trying to touch the churches to better them, bring them to do Gods work, so even though you are speaking about individual, his intention was to improve the church at a time they were meant to be spreading the word across the lands. Just my take. God Bless.
@ 100% - I’m with you! His ministry was mainly focused on the church as a whole though he did speak to the individual within the church as well so to build and maintain a strong community of believers. My heart here is to encourage individuals within the church for the same reason. So many believers today have gotten away from what Jesus has called us to. It breaks my heart! Many of us need to get back to intimacy with Jesus so we can make disciples & save as many people as possible. I was one of those people for so long until God grabbed ahold of me 🙌🏼🙏🏼 God Bless you as well!! ❤️
@@becoming_proverbs31 Im not sure how many times you have read through the bible or if you had a good teacher to help you through it. But be cautious, you say "its your understanding" that this is something you should do or that this is a way to pray. But YHVH has already stated judgement begins at the pulpit, meaning if you are going to teach and guide others, what you teach them wrong or right, you are judged for their actions that they have learned from you. Churches, pastors make a living on cherry picking from the bible to make feel good and help. I dont want anyone to do it. There are so many more things in the bible to teach and bring people closer to God then get them to understand speaking in tongues or trying it when God can understand you perfectly with your own words and knows your heart. Now, if this is close to the end times. Parable of the fig tree. There is a message that should be given. And those were the 4 things I stated before. I hope you arent off the track with what you feel is right. God doesn't make it hard for use to be close to him. Yashua didnt preach tongue prayers only to pray and speak to your heavenly father. And in the time that churches in pauls times were supposed to go out into the world and teach, speaking their tongue would be more helpful then using a translator. Just like in King James time and before when he commanded the bible to be translated into common english rather then sang to the masses in latin at church mass. You benefit the church more preaching and teaching to them, rather then speaking in tongues to them. I don't believe what you are doing provides you harm, but I don't see it helping either. Not when the majority of people are unaware of satans return, or they think hes already here. When hes not yet. Sorry for the lengthy response.
