Sonic Adventure DX and Majora’s Mask (GameCube port) were my 2 video games that introduced me to Gaming and a life long fan of gaming. It’s interesting to me the lesser DX port made me a Sonic fan rather than Majora’s Mask made me a Zelda fan. I guess I never found the magic from Majora’s Mask in Zelda as I did for Sonic as a whole from the DX port. Grinding through the bad of DX only to be rewarded with Golden beauty of Super Sonic is a magic that other Sonic games and Archie Sonic as a whole captured expertly.

If you want some advise for the beginning - king of the hill maps are the simplest of the bunch - there are two spawns, one point between them and some fluff on the side. If you want to focus on the basics of a class koth will let you do that. Other than that all you really need to know to get started is a general idea what each class does. So if you want some a quick summary of each of them here it goes: Scout is small, speedy, can double jump, has little health but very efficient single target damage with his scattergun - you can kill important targets fairly easily if you can catch them off guard and then get out before you get killed. Scout isn't a bad choice for direct combat but really isn't equipped to face off more than 1 opponent. Pyro is often times seen as the beginner class since you can die a lot and still do fairly good damage with your flamethrower. The truth is he's the most versitile of all classes - good offense, good support, good flanking, good defense against certain classes - a lot depends on the specific weapons you use. Important thing - you have airblast, you can push people into death pits, extinguish your teammates if they're on fire and reflect rockets flying at you. Pyro is also the best option to look for spies in your team. Somewhat squishy so sticking with your team is a pretty good idea. Soldier - the generalist class. Fairly tanky, fairly forgiving with his rockets since they do splash damage, slow but can be made faster if you learn to learn some basic rocket jumps. Good offense, good defense, good anti-engineer capabilities. Demoman - somewhat similar to soldier in his capabilities but achieves his goals differently - where soldier can spam rockets demo has a grenade launcher and a sticky bomb launcher. Stickies - consistent, can be spammed easily, also used for setting up explosive traps, will go boom when you tell them to. Grenades (also known as pills) - instant 100 damage if they hit the target, if they don't they'll explode on their own after some time, you won't survive any 1v1 without them. THE engineer counter. Heavy - big gun, big sustained damage, easy to kill if you're not careful. You're slow so you're the most voulnerable to snipers and spies. A serious powerhouse on defense where the map layout should allow you to take cover when you need to, tricky on offense where you need to mix those defensive manouvers in your playstyle to survive. Engineer - you can build a sentry gun that can easily outdamage most people and has an amazing aim but it's stationary so it's an easy target. You also can build a dispenser that will give you and your team ammunition and health and then there's a teleporter (self explanatory). You need to develop a feel for good building placement so your team can rely on you - if you're on offense it's a good idea to build slightly behind the frontlines so your team has a solid spot to fall back on, if you're on defense it's fairly similar, if you're playing something like king of the hill then you want to secure the control point with your sentry so make sure it can shoot anyone trying to take over. Medic - you heal and you provide ubercharge. You can and should use actual weaponary when necessary but for the most part your time is better spent on healing so you can build your uber. Survival is key - both your and your teammates' survival but most importantly yours. What specifically your uber will do depends on your medigun but for stock it's a limited time invincibility. Good for rushing in and killing everyone, especially when there's a sentry. Sniper - you headshot people to kill them quickly, most classes will die from a single quickscope or will be left with a pitiful amount of health. Not much more to say - you're fragile so stay put and you're an easy pick for a spy if you don't watch out for them. Spy - you're the weird class. Other guys are playing an fps while you're playing a stealth game. You have an invisibility watch, a knife that can backstab and kill instantly and disguises that only help you so much so you better make a good use of them. You're kind of the other side of the scout's coin in that you need to get in, kill and get out but he uses speed and burst damage to achieve this while you need to play smart and can insta kill anyone provided they're stupid enough. Revolver is important for self defense, not that important in other situations (except when snipers wear the razorback).

Oh god. This game is pretty unfriendly to new players (the game itself not the community). Things like no weapon quick-switch or auto-reload by default, the mediocre tutorials, no introduction to rocket jumping, and general gameplay complexity makes it a tough ride for new players. Despite all of this, learning all the gameplay dynamics hands-on is super rewarding albeit frustrating at times. I look forward to seeing you progress in your TF2 journey.

1st thing first you need to go to your settings and click advanced in the keyboard section then check fast weapon switching 2nd of all there are bots cheaters tryhards and trolls in casual and compedetive but in competetive the cheaters and bots will be kicked faster cause there are alot of f2p in tf2 that cant talk in vc type ingame nor use valve's ingame voice commands

I know that’s a game design flaw, it should have servers for noobs playing between them instead of being shredded and insulted by players with more gaming hours. But people could do something better instead of being jerks (yes, I am also included in this) to the people who will keep the game alive and fresh.

It is nice to see some fresh blood in this game. As others have mentioned, the first while is pain incarnate. But after it clicks, it gets better. Also good reflect at 5:26. If I were to suggest 2 classes to start, Pyro and Soldier. Both are good even if you are not at the top of your game because splash damage is forgiving, and fire forces retreats sometimes. Also both are good at punishing Spies. Playing Heavy is also a good thing to learn tracking, but I only recommend playing him of defense at first.
