today in this video me and my friend James made the trip to a well known welsh reservoir called Clywedog to fly fish for trout.
it was a perfect day to be out on the boat soaking up some rays and catching fish.

Trout is the generic name for a number of species of carnivorous freshwater fish belonging to the genera Oncorhynchus, Salmo and Salvelinus, all of which are members of the subfamily Salmoninae in the family Salmonidae. Trout are closely related to salmon and have similar migratory life cycles. Most trout are strictly potamodromous, spending their entire lives exclusively in freshwater lakes, rivers and wetlands and migrating upstream to spawn in the shallow gravel beds of smaller headwater creeks. As mid-level predators, trout prey upon smaller aquatic animals including insects, crustaceans, baitfish and tadpoles.
