The Daily Show w/ Trevor Noah's Roy Wood Jr. Discusses Racism and Politics in Comedy
Standup comedian and The Daily Show w/ Trevor Noah contributor Roy Wood Jr. talks about the dangers of comedy that critiques the left vs comedy that is critical of the black community. During his recent gig hosting the Washington Correspondents dinner and in his comedy special Imperfect Messenger, Roy addresses sensitive social issues including President Biden's age, confederate pride, and racial politics. His deft way of handling hot button topics in a unique and compassionate way places him in the same category as legendary comics Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, and Richard Pryor in the way that they candidly discuss the black perspective in a thought provoking and honest way.

    The vaccine does cause adverse effects. It's irrefutable and only now being recognised. The fact is the FF advocated their entire audience get jabs, that hasn't aged well. Media reports on Hawkins abusing himself and having a heart attack, maybe he would've survived had he not had the vaccine. His heart was double the size. That doesn't happen after a night of toxicity. A double sized heart would surely have caused some concern to Mr Grohl, the band, Hawkins family and his doctor. Something isn't right here.

You've obviously never dealt with a family member or great friend battle addiction, but it has nothing to do with running a tight ship. He battled for a while and that stuff will tax your body.. And if you're not careful, or going to regular check ups, you can have exactly what Taylor had. It's called a widow maker and it happens every day.. But again, had nothing to do with the vaccine and people that think so shouldn't reproduce.

    I think it’s disrespectful to crap on fans who cared about Taylor. He didn’t want to take the vaccine, but Dave forced him to. Did it out and out kill him? Maybe, maybe not. His heart was enlarged to twice the size of an average male heart (which is entirely possible because of side effects or a slew of unrelated reasons) and he was on a cocktail of drugs. It’s tragic, and I wish he was still here. I wanted to be him when I was a kid.

    • @DM-il1hf
      @DM-il1hf Рік тому

      No Jason, nobody said the vaccine stopped transition. Right wing media said that people were saying that & trump was never being clear about any of it, but anyone who was remotely interested in the facts knew that the vaccines lessened the spread & protected the vast majority from major symptoms. Just like every other vaccine. Stop the insanity man. Billions, literally billions of people have gotten the Covid vaccine’s & obviously there’s no widespread side effects. Do you really think Fox News, OAN, Alex Jones, etc… would be talking about anything else if the vaccines were killing tons of people? They’re using anecdotal evidence, where a soccer player over there, a basketball player or drummer over here. And tons of people walk around everyday completely clueless that they have heart issues & then suddenly they die & we find out they’d been living with an enlarged heart or a bad valve, etc… And athletes (and drummers) push their Hearts in a huge way & often & being that they’re famous, it’s easy fodder for the conspiracy nuts & their bullshit. That’s supposed to be your cue that they’re trying to manipulate you. Come on man, you can be a much better human than this.

    Seeing people in the comments STILL conspiring after having watched this or say “it isn’t disrespectful to make it about that” is so frustrating and shows the fucked up social climate we live in. It’s easy to not view it that way because these people are celebrities and we tend to not see them as actual human beings in a sense. Conspiring about their lives/death does nothing but feed this weird part of people that like to gossip to make us feel bigger. People were conspiring about his death almost as soon as it was announced. It’s extremely disrespectful to those who are closest to him and mourning the loss of a loved one/friend to push a misguided and (now) inherently political narrative. Imagine if you had a loved one die and before you could even process your grief, people online were blaming it on vaccines or drugs. It’s a fucking human life man. It doesn’t matter how he died because at the end of the day he’s dead and not coming back. Coming up with conspiracies out of left field that people have no reason to bring up other than their own paranoia is just a bad move. Taylor’s death isn’t a vessel for people to push their conspiracies on. It’s a tragic loss of human life and people need to see it as nothing else. If you’re still making it about your beliefs/conspiracies, you are the one that’s messed up.
