An example of how bad SLP (VHS) really looks
This is a snippet from a transfer I did on July 19, 2021. I lost the original file in a hard drive crash, so this is all that survived anyway.
The source tape was recorded sometime in 1987, and was a Japanese made TDK EHG 120. It was a 1:1 copy of a retail 1984 BBC performance of "The Royal Ballet in Romeo and Juliet". I threw it out after I transferred it, as I had swapped the tape into a new shell since the original was damaged.
The first few seconds are of my VCR struggling to track the tape, as the signal seemed to be pretty weak. I was able to transfer the entire tape in one sitting, however, and it didn't drop out once.
The on-screen display seen close to the end of this segment is my VCR's, I pressed the button on the remote so I could gather some information.

I've tried to figure out the same thing......this just happened last month. UA-cam denied my appeals (go figure) so unfortunately I can't remove this. I'm not sure why they're hell bent on keeping this video age-restricted but it's really irritating.

Hi, I have a problem to record with Log AVI. I follow your steps and when I play in windows media just only the sound is recorded but without images. What can I do?? please. By the way I have windows XP.
Some older computers tend to have issues playing back the AVI files that KEGA Fusion produces. In your case I would recommend downloading VLC. Try to play the files back with that, and if you're still having issues let me know. I don't believe the AVIs are the problem here. videolan.org/vlc

BANDICAM JUST ONLY ALLOW YOU TO RECORD 10 MINUTES. ONE QUESTION HOW CAN YOU RECORD WITH FULL SCREEN. I HAVE TRIED TO CENTER THE IMAGE SCREEN TO RECORD BUT WHEN I SEE THE RESULTS ALWAYS IS ON LEFT TOP ON THE SCREEN. I WILL APPRECIATE YOUR HELP.
To be honest, I wouldn't recommend Bandicam at all. It's not the greatest in terms of freeware, because it watermarks your recordings and I haven't had great experiences with it. I'd recommend using the latest version of OBS Studio. It's pretty easy to use from what I've found/experienced and it doesn't watermark your recordings. www.obsproject.com
