Accretive dilution is what Saylor has been doing for the past few months whereby he’s raising money by selling shares and then using that money to buy more Bitcoin. This has been and will continue to be Hugely Bullish.

Michael Saylor is a genius. Selling more MSTR shares (accretive dilution 👍🏼) ATM or Conv Bonds brings in more money into Microstrategy, they use it to buy more Bitcoin, BTC goes up taking most of Bitcoin off exchanges making it hard to get with lower available supply, further increasing MSTR price, increasing MSTR market cap, increases % QQQ allocation, further increasing MSTR value, which increases buying of BTC… repeat.

Buy and hold? If you bought 1000 Misty in March at 45 ( 4000 shares changing hands) and sold out in Sept at 20 the CG loss is $24,000. Holding YTD the CG loss would have been $13,000. That is a total YTD of 9 months paying roughly $3/share or $27,000. The pattern matches the MSTR path. MISTY spiked on 11/20 with 4,260,000 shares trading hands. Were you one of them?

Hello , if we go to black swan event and EVERYTHING crashes by 30-50% ( including MSTY ) then what happens to the dividends of these type of Leverage ETFs ??? Are they still giving you dividends? and mot importantly since MSTY ETF is 3 X leveraged , if market crashes by 50 % , then isn't MSTY ETF going to ZERO ?

be careful it follows the price of BTC pretty heavily so Dec Jan the share price should drop as the xmas selloff continues and then you can load up for the rest of the bull run on BTC

What too many forget about with these high-yield covered call ETFs is TOTAL RETURN. Sure the juicy dividend payouts is sweet but are you losing money in the long run? Only way to know is tracking the total return over a 6 month or 12 month time period. Compare that to the S&P 500 (SPY). These funds usually do worse than the SPY. If you want to avoid the NAV erosion you can buy a bunch of shares just before the ex-dividend date and hold for 2 days past that to collect the payout. Put that in a money market fund and sell your shares of MSTY freeing up that capital to work somewhere else until you repeat the cycle the following month. Hopefully the position won't dump the 5 days you hold it (like it did last week after Powell spoke).

Tsly should be 2 to 5 dollars. If etfs have to payout because of tax requirements, it will be 5 dollars. FYI.

3732 shares of Msty - average cost 33.22 dripping divi’s each month to acquire more. Owned it 3 months now - next dividend should pay out 11.5k and I’ll just keep buying more. Goal is 20k shares…. Been doing the same with Tsly for about 15 months now - just under 20k shares and my early December payment was over 23k… excited that Tsly has one more payment on 12-30 rumored to be larger because of higher profit from synthetic position !!
