@@dillon599 set your tv to activate tone mapping first , then do 25 clicks for the first 2 however I don't know the settings for static tone mapping. Active tone mapping on Samsung is like dynamic tone mapping on LG and static tone mapping is like HGIG on LG

@ yea I’m using static so basically hgig I think it’s to bright on active for most games I think it’s somewhere between 15 and 17 for static I have mine on 16 I think

@@dillon599 if it's around 1200 then do 17 clicks for first 2 pages that will translate to 1290nit , 16 click is 1117 which lower than your tv brightness so 17 clicks is the best option

@@charuwaka1 An sorry but that's incorrect , it should be limited and that's because the PS5 can't communicate the accurate RGB range with LG OLED , LG OLED are factory calibrated to limited so it should be set to limited in both , if you set it to auto in both then the output will be full which doesn't align with the tv RGB range

No it should be to the darkest , you need to have the inkiest black for HDR in order for the highlights to pop in dark scenes Also we have already adjusted the blacks to 48 to mitigate this issue

@@SEBAII85 Thanks , did you get a chance measure brightness , or rough number on mind between game optimiser and this ?

Native brightness in filmmaker mode is 820 In game optimizer it's 798 on LG OLED C3 but this may vary between other models But in filmmaker mode the tv can sustain the peak brightness much longer while in game optimizer it dips faster

@@paradiseb5950 who said the tv can do 850nit it's just a reference to see how close to the tv is to the brightness settings plus I used Alan wake to simplifie I have already used other calibration tools to measure the brightness for each click

@@UAE-KSA I suggest using Dynamic tone mapping for B4 , due to the low brightness of this tv HGIG looks dull But if you still want HGIG do 12 clicks first and second page and 0 Clicks for third page If you want Dtm 25 clicks for first and second page and 0 Clicks for the third

@@puneet7768 yes but it's better to use the dongle because some pc games will not work perfectly with Bluetooth as xinput will be missing

@ so xinput mode isn't available via Bluetooth? I think 8bitdo released a beta version update for the controller to bring xinput support via Bluetooth, I am not sure though

@@puneet7768 I have tried the controller with Bluetooth recently and some of the buttons were not responding in some games

Yes 970 is too high You should never go below your tv brightness and you should never set it way higher so 14 clicks is the best option You should always go all the way down to ensure you have the inkiest black in HDR otherwise the blacks will be milky You can use it for all games that support system level calibration.

@SEBAII85 Thank you. :) And you wrote in the comments that, when you use DTM ON you should always do a new hdr calibration with DTM ON in the PS5 menu. But when you calibrate it with DTM ON, the picture is brighter, do i still do it in the same way like HGIG? (One step before the sun dissapears) I have this situation with Wukong right now. HGIG is to dark and the lighthing and black level floor IS broken in this game. Very difficult....Thank you for your help. :)

@@antonioraimondo205 no DTM is different than HGIG you should do 25 clicks exactly because we need to achieve between 3800 to 4000 nit which what work best for these tvs I also believe that black myth wukong doesn't have HDR support on PS5 , if you are getting HDR that means your PS5 HDR settings set to always on which is bad , keep it at on when supported

@@SEBAII85 Yes, this game got no HDR. This HDR thing is actually not so complicated, but i don't want to chance that, for almost every game. Let's hope that they will bring tv's with ai, that will do it for you in the future. ^^

@@antonioraimondo205 this is only an issue with C model due to this tvs low brightness if you have the G3 OR G4 then you can always keep it on HGIG , no need for DTM due to the high brightness of the G3 and G4 which is about 1500nit.

@@burakyilmaz1273 for HGIG chose clipping to 1000 and do 15 clicks. For DTM choose normal HDR and do 25 clicks but this is just my guess in theory , I never tested Panasonic

@SEBAII85 thank for your answer. So you think that clipping to 1000 is the same as HGIG although the Panasonic doesn't support HGIG? And what happens when I play games which doesn't use the consoles HDR calibration?

Yes it's very close to hgig For games that don't support system HDR calibration they will have their own calibration settings, for accuracy chose clipping to 1000 and then calibrate with the game built in HDR settings

@@SEBAII85 You can keep the background the same and just add a sidechain, basically you but a compressor with sidechain functionality onto the music track and then route your vocal track to that , then you can adjust it where the music will turn down every time you talk, the better you adjust the settings the smoother it sounds, you can get real pro sound getting good at doing that and using an EQ as well.

This is one of those games you play for 2 months before you get bored and put the controller down , I don't think it will last very long

I heard that the update would make many things worse. I ordered the pro but every console had loud coil whine. Terrible so i bought the slim now. Thank you.

@@antonioraimondo205 you can download it as most of the issues are on the PS5 pro but it's fine on base PS5 plus it fixes item interaction issues which was really frustrating specially during bosses fight

@@heylias B4 has only 668 nit so the sun doesn't disappear also you should do 13 click not 14 but I suggest that you calibrate with DTM on since the brightness on B4 is low for impactful HDR in HGIG

It depends on the TV. I have a LG OLED C4. in Hgig it takes 16 clicks.

@@luiscisneros8412 15 click correspond to 968nit which is 32nit less than the max brightness of this tv (1000nit ), if you sit it until the sun disappear it will be 16 clicks which correspond to 1117nit which is 117 nit above the tv max brightness so 15 click is the most accurate
