Also pvs 14 doesn't have a 49 degree fov, it has a 40 degree fov. So does every other NV device except those 51 degree units from agm or panos which have 90 to 104 degree fov depending on which panos you have.

Hey thinking of buying 50 fov lense for a pvs-14 project I don’t really care much about a fisheye effect if any at all but I have heard people say you have to put your eye closer to the lense or something is this true in any way and if yes is it uncomfortable for any reason? Thanks!

I had a little play when I installed it a PA10 Gen III. Watch school of the American Rifle. Just added a small piece of velcro to the buffer tube. On the angle part of the tube. I used the stiff part of the Velcro. It is rock solid now. I have used the soft part of the Velcro to shim six position ar stocks. It usually works great. If to thick. I shave it with a shaver.

Hello, very useful video for those, like me, who are just starting out. Could I know the type of reticle of this Meopta? Thank you.

  • @ridetillidieharleyyamaha4063

So ive been shooting for over 30 years + with some contract shooting here and there but ive never had a long range rifle which I have wanted to get into for some time now so I have just brought a tikka tx3 tac a1 in 308 and tomorrow I pick up my meopta optica 6 4.5-27×50mm with the bdc-3 duplex and everything looks daunting to me with regards to setting up the scope but hopefully after watching this it should clear a few things up for me .. Hopefully but I might be back to ask a few questions but I appreciate your video, thankyou for taking the time to make it mate

The fov is so much more useful with the 51 degree eyepiece. But with high end binoculars regularly giving 63 -66 degree fov i still don't see why 63+ degree fov is the norm

This is strange by Meopta. You have to request how to adjust the zero stop and you'll get a separate PDF. Meopta, how poor is that?🙄 The description in the manual which comes with the scope is not proper done. BUT, your video is great. Thanks!👍
