This channel is a fun project dedicated to talking about Heavy Metal and record collecting. I've been a Heavy Metal fan and collector for over 30 years. While my favorite styles of heavy metal are NWOBHM, power metal, doom metal, and traditional 1980s metal, I also enjoy a lot of death metal, black metal, thrash metal, and even some 1980s glam metal. My goal is simply to make some short videos about Heavy Metal of all types that other headbangers will hopefully find interesting and/or entertaining.

Logan posted an interesting video on his channel where he proposes that 2012-2016 saw a renaissance in extreme metal, and he offered four lines of evidence to support his idea. I thought it was in interesting possibility so I thought I'd compare those five years to the previous five years (2007-2011) to see if I agree with Logan's assessment. TRESPASS released just three 7" pieces of vinyl and made a couple of compilation appearances, but the quality of their recorded output is undeniable.
