Can anyone recommend a good guide for Octopath Traveller? Love the music and want to get into the games, but I am stumped at the first boss of OctoPath Traveller 1 with Cedric the Scholar - 6 tries, losing every time. I must be missing something, but it's very frustrating.

This is one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard in a game. I think this may even top the all time greats.

Leaflands cities are my absolute favourite, maybe it's beacause I feel good in the woods and I love woods ambience in videogames, so all the three cities there are my favourite top 3 ost of the game, in second place come the coast cities, for example in the first game Grandport was my favourite. In general Octopath ost from all the three games is GODLY!

If it were me all "The Journey For _____ Ends" would be high in the ranks but since Song Of Hope is No. 1 I will definitely accept the rankings

I just noticed that Osvald theme is similar to the Gladiator film main theme (composed by Hans Zimmer), especially after 1 minute mark. I wouldn't see that as a mere coincidence, since the film has vengeance as one of its main themes just like Osvald story.

Funny number 1 and 23 are basically the same song but I love both

Critical Clash II is by far the best boss track of all time, any game, period. If there is another you think is better please tell me cuz I wana hear it.

Solid start with Montwise! That was one of my favourites, I would deliberately take my time in this city to listen to the music a bit more! :)

18 sounds like a Xenoblade 2 soundtrack

around 12:08 in Otherworldly Entity, is probably my favorite riff in the game, not really an rpg in recent history that compares to this whole soundtrack though. Glad to see Critical Clash 2 up top with Song of Hope.

This game's soundtrack was perfection banger after banger, haven't come across an rpg this meticulous with the soundtrack since ps1 days.

This game is incredibly underrated. For me it's the best RPG since Final Fantasy 10 which was over 20 years ago. The OST, characters, gameplay, voice acting are all incredible. Ochette the hunter is a fantastic tune.

As someone who saved Agnea for last, it was the absolute perfect story and song to end the journey. Or at the very least, it was like the celebration party the night before shit hits the fan lol
