@@SuperSaiyanTCG Thank you very much 😊 So, I reckon I’m going to stop pulling Fusion World. I know it’s not all about card values and I should focus on the fun, but it’s hard not to. Imho aside from the SCR** “God Rare” cards, the residuals on all the other cards are just so bad that it makes the sets much less appealing, for me at least. Going forward, I’ll cherry-pick singles from Fusion World, but I think I’ll still go for the Masters series boxes as those sets have a higher amount of desirable, higher value cards. That’s currently where I’m at, at least at the moment 😅

@@ChuckNorris-hl8te So when you’re grading with Beckett, if all four subgrades on the card are 10s, it gets a black label 10, which means every aspect of the card is perfect. This is incredibly difficult to achieve, because the card really has to be flawless. A regular gold label 10 allows for one 9.5 subgrade, and even PSA 10s don’t have to be completely perfect and have a little room for error. Because Black Labels are so hard to get, it also makes the card a lot more valuable if you ever want to sell it. I’ve had PSA 10s and Beckett 10s before, but I never expected any more my cards would be good enough to get a Black Label, which is why I was so excited! 😄

I did pretty much exactly that 🙂I used to only collect Pokémon, but got a bit burned out and wanted a change, and as a big DB fan, I couldn't help buying a few cards, and things quickly spiralled from there 😅I like collecting nice cards with great artwork of my favourite characters, and both the Masters and Fusion World sets are absolutely filled with stunning cards, so it's easy to recommend getting into it! If you like the art in the Fusion World sets (Awakened Pulse, Blazing Aura, Raging Roar and Ultra Limit so far), just buy the singles you like. It feels like the Masters sets tend to have more cards with higher values, whereas in the Fusion World sets aside from the God Rare, the other cards - even the top-end Leaders and SCRs - tend to be a lot cheaper, so you can easily pick up one, or even two, of the best-looking top-tier cards from each set for about the same as the price as a booster box (or less). With the Masters sets, I will personally probably still keep going for booster boxes, because even with brutal pull rates, each set tends to have enough higher-value cards to make it feel worth splashing out on those 🙂Plus I'm still hoping that maybe one day the Pull Gods will smile upon me and bless me with a God Rare 😄 I hope that helps!

@TCG-TheCardGirl oh wow I didn't even realize there was two separate card sets for dragon ball. I looked a bit more into some of the fusion world singles and found some I really like at a decent price. Now I gotta look into master set. Thanks for the advice and good luck on finding that God pack!

Thank you! 😊 I think the cards look fantastic, and I think the God Rare, Ghost Rare Goku, the SCR I pulled and the Goku FB04-001 Leader alt are all absolutely awesome. But the set suffers from the same problem as every Fusion World set - card values absolutely tanking, except for the God Rare in each set. Ultra Limit just came out, and apart from the God Rare, none of the other cards has any real value - even the Ghost Rare is like a £50 card. Unless you pull a God Rare in one box or within the value of the card (so approx. 3-4 boxes), then you might as well just buy the singles you like, especially when the pull rates are so bad and not even an SCR is guaranteed. That probably makes me sound quite bitter 😅 But compared with the Masters series, where each set has a lot of much higher value cards, Fusion World doesn't seem worth it, tbh. I think in terms of Fusion World, the two best God Rares are the ones from Awakened Pulse and Ultra Limit, and I think that Awakened Pulse had the best-looking cards (so far). Going forwards, I can see myself potentially buying Masters booster boxes, but just cherry-picking the best Fusion World singles 🙂

Indeed. For me if its higher end cards I prolly wont think twice to resubmit it tbh. Cause of the value spike. But if it were my PC I prolly be ok even if its 9.5 o Gold Label 10's.

The few Im chasing will prolly set me back monetary wise since most of the older packs/ boxes cost so much. Too bad I wasnt into it much during 2004-2022. I got most of the cards from Base Set, Base 2, Jungle, Gym Heroes and Neo Revelation & Destiny. Such a waste I didnt kept them in a binder. Now, slowly collecting from modern all the way to XY era. Collecting sealed boxes and completing the master sets. Hopefully next year I'm able to complete the current SV sets and all SWSH sets if I get more work that is. 😅

I shall post a video of me opening them hopefully sometime next year. Busy with work lately also I havent read any manga since I dont have the time to do so. Unless I have a physical copy of it I can take anywhere when Im working then that'll be better.
