That’s ginger juice! I put ginger root through my juicer and add just the *tiniest* amount to my tea :)

What is it that you’re wrapping around the plants and why? Just getting into plants and have a lot to learn!
you mean around the monstera roots? It's a damp paper towel. The purpose is to get some extra moisture to those arial roots that don't get water through regular watering. It's by no means necessary to keep the plant alive but it does help it thrive! hope that helps :)
