❤ Thank you SO much for this video! It's gold. I never get tired of experiencing Ashford and Simpson. They're my absolute favorite artists. I caught them live on the west coast many times, but never got enough of them. That's why they're living in my USB drives and CDs, rolling with me on the road and at home, on heavy rotation. I'd sure love to see Val. Her vocals and hands are the best friends a mic and keyboard EVER had ❤ Huge love to you, Val XO

If you can, please do one on Flo Ballard. These two have so much in common as far as the unsung heroes of their groups.

They were the distance and then they got with Eddie and Paul and became the elgins then when they went into Motown and asked to speak to Mr Gordy the secretary at that time was Martha Reeves and she basically laughed at him Elgin like the watch so that's how they ended up coming up with the temptations and it wasn't till Smokey started writing for them they actually broke out

Thank you for doing this on Mary Wells I have been waiting for this for the longest. Now we need a movie, a good true story of her life. I still listen to her to this day and remember her first record. I think I was about 10 yrs old when I used to listen to "Please Forgive Me" over and over again and the rest is history. Mary will always be the greatest and Smokey Oh I am his No, 1 fan in the world. They had so many hits together years before "My Guy" crossed over.

The Classic Five. Paul was the nucleus for the greatest male vocal group of all time. His mournful baritone wailing and pleading his heart's desires, set the framework for what was to come. I know Ruff' and E.K. got most of the credit for their meteoric rise during the Golden Age of Motown, but it was Paul who forged the distinctive sound and choreography, that would go on to define their signature style, and showmanship. Rest in peace. No greater singer ever graced a microphone or cut a step. Whether as lead or the third tier of four part harmony, your voice was heard and your soul was always felt.🎤🎩👞 🎤👓🎩👞🎤🎩👞🎤🎩👞🎤🎩👞

OTIS must be really holding a serious grudge against Eddie Kendricks. He NEVER let an opportunity pass to criticize Eddie about something. According to Otis, Eddie was sorta "stiff". Eddie moved just fine IMO. I'm willing to bet that if there was ANY time Eddie Kendricks was STIFF, some lucky girl was thoroughly enjoying him! I do know for a fact that there are still millions of women who would love to have spent some time with Eddie Kendricks when he was STIFF! Women STILL yearn for Eddie till this day. Ain't NOBODY coming to see Otis ol' jealous, clumsy ass!😬😡

if Otis Williams does have a grudge against Kendrick's it would be easy to understand why. Kendrick's was widely recognized as one of the Temps most recognizable lead singers and Williams wasn't. Kendrick's was allowed to make solo records. But Williams is still alive now and Kendrick's isn't.

If Otis has any issues with Eddie, it would have been Eddie standing so closely with Ruff, that it fractured the group. Doesn't really matter, because Otis still has the Tempts going. They are just about to release a 60th Anniversary album with Smokey.
