Don‘t know why he‘s singing time, the other songs are (fine), but time, it has so many high notes, he should just ditch it

@@yehyakhorchid3420 I don't know. I've listened to a bunch and they're all... well bad. A Great Day for Freedom was horrible. I wish he hadn't done this mini-tour. Just go out on a high note with one last album. This has me genuinely sad.

Yeah... I genuinely think he should focus all of his attention on guitar while hiring someone else to sing. That said, there's still some songs (mainly the newer ones) he sings quite well, I genuinely think he should keep singing the easier ones while leaving the high note ones to someone else.

He started with The Trial in February, 1980, then some line from his "Pros and Cons" tour but shouted his head off so much every night that he destroyed his voice by the mid-late 80s. The Dark Side Tour, Wall Tour, US & Them tour and the last one are all heavily lip-synced. At least we got a good honest run from David. (Have a listen to In The Flesh 1984. He is 78 years old, there is no other way. He must be different from how he performed in the past, and must make "errors". The arrow of time points forward, for ever... we change as the years pass. It was 1974 when he sung "and then one day you find, ten years have got behind you" as backing for Rick. When *fifty* years get behind you, after the ten years in the song, there is no mercy: you have to play, and sing, differently, time demands it. For me, this is an immense performance, not just for how David has kept up with reality, but for the tightness of the whole band. There is honesty here that's lacking from some, even from much younger artists. Plus, aging, time, nostalgia, disappointment, etc, are themes of this song and many others (sorrow, high hopes, most of luck and strange), and link back to songs like fat old sun. @wetbluesba, non la penso come te.. Per me il solo lo ha semplicemente fatto diverso... Dove era in difficoltà, purtroppo, era nel cantato... Il "Time" purtroppo scorre per tutti....ma lui rimane sempre un grande....

Vero...e che fortuna abbiamo avuto col meteo...eravamo in forse fino alle 18.30.... Su channel max trovi già da stamattina tutte le canzoni del concerto di ieri sera.

Su channel max, poi trovare anche altri loro video. Da Veruno " il cacciatore di balene", dall'apertura alle Orme di Legnano e Seriate "Sirima" e "Dolce vita", ed alcune cover con ospite al basso Giorgio"fico" Piazza, primo bassista della PFM ( "il Banchetto", "impressioni di settembre", "celebration", "la carrozza di Hans" e "21'st centurione schizoid man"). Gli altri brani, li pubblicheremo dopo l'uscita del loro primo disco ....

Su channel max, oltre a tutti i pezzi del concerto di Seriate, trovi anche tutti quelli del concerto di apertura del tour, a Legnano ( più lungo e con ospiti Tolo Marton e Lino Vairetti 'degli Osanna che canta con loro "impressioni di settembre ", "Gioco di bimba", "l'uomo" e "non mi rompete". Buon divertimento!!
