Lords of the Fallen Playthrough Finale
Hi all, I'm finally playing Lords of the Fallen (2023). This is the finale of my series, check out the other videos if you missed them!
Spoiler-free review of the game:
Lords of the Fallen is a very good Souls-like. My only major gripe I had was a lack of new surprising enemies towards the end of the game. Other than that, the exploration is great, the world interconnectivity is cool, the enemy and boss designs are awesome, the game feels fluid and dynamic, the QoL stuff is stuff that FromSoft should take notes on, the lore is rich and interesting to dig into, and it's just fun to play. I wouldn't put it on the same tier as Lies of P, it's great, but I don't think I'm dying to replay it like the best Souls games. I have tier list below in case you're curious about my preferences. If you've already played things in A and S tier, definitely check this game out. It's more like a B+ rank, very close to A tier. Lords of the Fallen performance was fine on my new PC, only minor hiccups, I think the patches did their job, but you may want to consider how old your PC is before looking into getting the game.

Lords of the Fallen is a very good Souls-like. My only major gripe I had was a lack of new surprising enemies towards the end of the game. Well I put it off long enough time for me to finally tackle the two Dark Souls 3 DLCs my final loadout is the Fallen knight set the sunlight talisman and the dragon slayer swordspear because for some reason a lot of late game bosses are weak to lightning

Oof, yeah she's really tough, great boss though. Also that line hits so hard. After hearing it spoken calmly or in reverence throughout the game, it's great to hear it turned into the most malicious sounding line

I was too, but it's a really fun game, I would recommend it to anyone who really likes the exploration and RPG aspects of Soulslikes. I have a tier list in the description, if you've already played the stuff in A and S tier, then this game is the best one to try next

what is that damage, man ? , where the minibosses 2 years ago way squishier or do you have like 99 attack power ?
If it wasn’t for this one attack I genuinely think I would like this boss. I’ve eaten so many deaths from this stupid attack that has no warning that it’s completely destroyed my opinion of what could be a pretty fun boss.
Just here to relive traumatic memories of my own pyrrhic victory against this nightmare. The triumphant point downs at the end are vulneraries for the mind.

I have absolutely no clue on how he let you through the middle like that without swiping so early. it seems like when i go in he intentionally swipes early so i can't catch him
I think this only works if it's your first time entering the arena. Otherwise she attacks much earlier after you enter. Any time I failed the bomb throws I would load a save state so my setup was consistent

So this is kind of a medal of dishonor but I have never beaten bloodborne but after lies of p I kind of want too now does anybody have some tips to help me succeed
If you got through Lies of P I think you're ready for Bloodborne. Main things are to stay stocked up on blood vials by farming Central Yharnam regularly, and level health whenever you can. Other than that, enjoy!
