What being President of AAPF was for me!
I am helping a friend with a mule that has developed this problem. He had an old injury but only recently in the last two months did he start walking on his toe. Same back leg as the horse in your video. Without surgery would you think a shoe with a toe extension might help stretch the tendon gently? Or is this solution only workable with surgery combined?

Amazing Job
Great job!
That horse is lame.
Wow
You say “deBRIDE”, but human medical persons say “deBREED.’ Is that meant to be a distinction between animal and human care? Ok, we are all animals.
It "just happened overnight" huh? I' glad the horse was healed.
My $.02. This did NOT "happen overnight" unless the owner started picking at it few weeks earlier originally without contacting the ferrier. The feet look to be trimmed as though the horse is walking to much on it's heel. And the toe edge hasn't been ramped lately. If the toe edge cracks further sooner or later something bad is going to happen. TAH DAH!!The ferrier should have been fired and another brought in to care for the horse. If the owner says no, call animal services IMMEDIATELY.
Thank goodness it finally healed up.
At first, that injury definitely was a big "OUCH!" But good job on the caring for it.
Owners horse around too much at times. Good job Mr Farrier!
awesome to see
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
What was the time span of this?
Why would you put a horse shoe on the horse yet it has a fucked up hoof...
Wow, great work and great healing. When I saw the first couple of pictures I kind of wondered if the horse would even survive and heal...
Warum läßt man es überhaupt soweit kommen 😡
Did you kick the owner? Just kidding. When you debride..do you give a local? Hello from NZ.🤗🇳🇿
zaimah Begum-Diamond I did not use a local, it was separated and removed easily
Great result.
looked like a painful wound, but over time, and listening to people that know, the horse made an excellent recovery
Between the vet and the farrier, great job, otherwise the horse might have been put down, effort and time the horse did well
Simply amazing work there. You did a seriously artistic job repairing that hoof!
(1:51) left stifle or hock issue.....
Palmar heel pain! Plain and simple!
Heel pain may have started the stifle/hock issue in that hind limb...but eliminating the heel pain now will not fix that paddle stride and loading of the medial heel. You need radiographs and ultrasounds to check the damage then hill work to strengthen and redevelop muscle memory.
Not sure about the spam comments below...Whatever! There is a big team of "experts" in the south USA calling this normal hoof-fall making billions $ a year off the body damage this stride causes ...did you fix it?
Hi, for the very first time in the last 10 months I was no longer concerned to get out of bed. I was always stressed about having my heel down before since it will cause the hot, pounding discomfort but I do not mind it anymore. I was able to treat my plantar fasciitis shortly after following this plantar fasciitis treatment method “Sαnzοkα Mula” (Google it).
I`m a nurse and have suffered from plantar pain for a couple of years. I got plantar fasciitis treatment solution “Sαnzοkα Mula” (Google it) and a couple of days of following it my pain is totally over. And I know it`s really gone cause I`m not on any medications so if there was any pain remaining I would be aware of it.
