There must be some frigin leaky injectors, or someone jacked up the pump. Cuz even with oil in the fuel these things usually don’t smoke that bad. For a little while I ran my 93 idi on oil w gas mix for abt a month of two & never smoked that bad even with a 1-4 ratio of gas to oil.

Welp time for a good ole 7.3. I don’t know what Ford idiots decided to make ceramic turbo bearings. And our screwy emissions that require the def fluid. You take that out and have a better turbo you got yourself a great motor

Hi Jesse, I have just watched the Volvo 940 desert wash run video, that looks great! I was so impressed to see such a heavy car run that way in a sandy desert track. I am planning to participate to the Bab El Raid in the Moroccan desert organized with my school. I am planning to acquire an old Volvo 244 that is supposed to be heavy duty and reliable as your 940. I am trying to collect some informations and advises to upgrade the 244 for that rally raid in stony and sandy tracks. I like how your 940 behave on that sandy truck at fast speed. I was wondering if you could share some information based on your experience regarding the tire and shock absorber selection and any other modification to apply to get a good grip and propulsion on those sandy tracks. Your car seems to have a very high ground clearance as well. How did you obtain this? Best Regards, Sylvya

I'm having same issue don't know what's wrong was it pushrod. I changed 2 bent ones out and put it back together and truck is making the same noise again
