When we took our first boat trip after moving here, I was blown away by the amount of people that hang out at Goat island. Without entertainment too. My wife and I joined the River Rats spring of 2015 and I dj'd the firworks at High Rock Marina and we did the poker runs for three years. It's an amazing community of boaters and people who love to have fun.

I don’t know if you pay attention to this as well, but reeling in the fish and letting it fight to me have always been the way to fish. I will not like a video if I see the fisherman over fishing a 1 lb crappie lol It’s not a catfish.

The Davidson County Sheriff’s Department completely ruined High Rock lake, and changed it from a place of freedom and no worries, into a ticket writing, revenue generating monster. Piggies will be piggies 🐷.

I grew up on this lake. Driving fast on high water in daylight is fine, if you KNOW the lay of the bed. It’s called HIGH rock for a reason. There’s so many hidden dangers on this lake it isn’t funny.
