Ive also feed them hard boiled egg white, usually cubes of about 1.5mm in size. Its so cool to see them disintegrate such things, its amazing hoe fast they crud and digest milk. Did most of the experiments in Darwin's book.

I gave my vft an earwig alive, later it chewed out the trap and run away 😁 but this one wasn't that lucky

How do these plants "spit out" the remains of their prey, the exoskeleton, after they are finished "digesting" them? So far, I have only seen the remnants, laying there dead, after the leafs open back up.

You should've moved that adjacent pot out of the way so that it had more room to grow :p
