Humulin R, és Humulin N inzulint kapok, 1917-ben kaptam tűket, de évekig nem használtam, mert más fajtát kaptam. Most újra a Humulint írták fel, de kiderült, hogy a tűk rosszak.
Hi I am a diabetic and my pump has broken down, the cost of the pump is too expensive with us, and I don't know if you have any paradigm minimed 754 pumps that you didn`t use to help me Thank you
this is why i wear a pump. i did syringes for 7 years then got the pump. never tried a pen. if i went back, it would probably be to old school syringes. you can see what you are getting. pens look bulky and how do you even know when to pull out? i wouldn't trust counting to 10 or anything like that. but yeah , for now the pump is the way to go for sure.
All a matter of what you're used to. Vials and syringes seem like a huge hassle to me when a pen is more portable and easier to store (since the needles that go with pens are much smaller than the syringes that come with vials), but that's because I've used pens from the start, and vials and syringes haven't been the default in most of Europe for years. You pull out the pen at the count of 10, because if you use a pen often enough and test the pen before injecting, you can very reliably see that you get all the insulin in those 10 seconds. It's how the pens were designed. If it makes someone feel better they wait 20 seconds or more though, all personal preference. Your comment might discourage people from using pens because you are instilling doubt without ever having used a pen. Please be more conscious of your words. As a pen user with good control and never having had any issues with pens, I can say that they work very well if used right. It largely depends on what you prefer and what suits your lifestyle, and each method has its good and bad sides. (Pumps have their very own issues for example, that doesn't make them any less reliable than a pen or syringe injection.)
I've taken a few pump "vacations" and tried pens for a week or so. the pump is so much more convenient in my opinion. there's nothing wrong with injecting if that's what you want to do. i would find it difficult to be social on injections, not being able to just pump when you need some insulin, and it seems like it would be difficult to go out to eat.
please PLEASE quit telling people that ketones are bad!!! that is so far from the truth...ketones are great...carbs are so bad for u that's why so many Americans are diabetic and obese!
Chrissie Hobbs if you have type one diabetes you cannot have high key tones it would lead you to ketoacidosis which would end up very detrimental for a person with type one diabetes obviously she must be speaking to people with diabetes otherwise she's misinformed.
This is not true! If your diabetes is under control you def can be on a ketogenic diet and possibly reverse your diabetes...so many people feel like there life is over when they've been diagnosed. Yes..they should be under a Dr's care but it is very possible!
This video should be taken down. There are several mistakes as to what numbers were actually showing. This could be confusing to someone who is watching this video for guidance.
I always have waste in my pen and it's the same on every pen one after the other. You need to change the plunger from a con caved plunger to a con vexed plunger it would make each pen good to the last drop / price and with the price you put on it I would expect that you take the customers cost into consideration.
I must say that you have to correct the Info youre giving out. different ketones are produced for diabetic keto acidosis and ketosis not due to type I diabetes. please fact check. other than that thanks for the Info.
You do not know what you are talking about at all. Ketoacidosis happens when you hit 15-25... 1 - 3 is ideal but people vary. Do some research... but thanks for a clear example of how to use the meter.
Ive been on a low carb diet for 3 months and Ive never felt better, Once you adapt to burning Ketones and the longer you stick with it, the healthier and more energized you feel.
Correct way to check, but she has no idea what she is talking about regarding Ketosis. Don't believe the words about Ketoacidosis. She did not research or study the subject obviously.

So absolutely zero information on how to change a used insulin cartridge for a new one.....

Thank You, My health care provider does not understand pumps or the Omnipod. Your video is very good. I need more help so I will search for you.
Then you need to pay a better healthcare provider that does.
How do you upload the pump for the dr
Your doctor should have the software and cable to do it.

Can you set the Omni pod to alert you two hours after a meal via vibrate and would it come from the pod or would it come from the PDM?
That took a long time to prime

Sir please share your experience with the pump ?
Does protein break down if insulin is a year old while kept in the fridge, unopened? The date is good.
Thank you for sharing about the long acting Jr that goes in 1/2 increments! I have been wishing for that and on Medicare, so no one told me.
Useful video for tutorial of the device ONLY. Do not listen to ANY of the information about ketones...terribly inaccurate.
Incorrect.
Dangerously stupid person
