0:12 when you press that switch (linedef 175) you can strafe right and jump straight down to catch the rising platform (sector 99) instead of going back all the way to press the other switch. It is an intentional shortcut meant for speedrunning.

Well done Andrea ! Nice to see my TAS time improved. Actually, I also plan to try it non-TAS one day, but it's certainly not at the top of my list. It would be awesome to see this strategy implemented. I remember that the barons were sometimes reluctant to go into the teleporter room. Do you plan on killing all barons this way ? Or settling with 2 or 3 and then going back to the classic strat ? GL anyway !😊

Great playthrough. A lot of players like this map despite been one of the most linear in Zone 400. (I tried to make Zone 400 less linear than my older maps with little backtracking, although in MAP20 you do backtrack).

I put as much throught into the design but I'm not a skilled player. Probably my personal fave in the megawad. Thought it turned out well for 300 linedefs. Great playthrough.

When I designed this map it felt like an endless slog, so much thought had to be put into this in order to make a linear map free flowing. Some say it is the best map in Zone 400, or all Zone maps. The teleporting monsters was to keep the player working hard in the large main area at the start and the map opens up. You smashed it!

Pro tip: turn watch speed to 2x and pretend that she's good and you have a BOP
