I took part in this year's Race to the King - a 100km figure of eight race around the South Downs in the UK. It was a very warm day, especially compared to the past few weeks - which made it a rather challenging; but I fought on though and managed a top 10 finish, coming in 8th place (being closely persued by the 9th place finisher - you don't usually expect a 500m sprint finish in a 100km race...
