    Didn't ever do a thing with my own hair. When I grew up, I had two daughters & we didn't cut our hair. What do I do with all this hair?! So I learned to braid. First, a three strand basic. Then a fishtail. Then french. Dutch. Four strand, followed by five and six strand. Ladder braids. Box fishtail. I now know how to do over 20 braids & it all started with a three strand basic braid. Possibilities are nearly endless.

    Not to throw hate. But just curious, what was wrong with the wood????? The black now makes it look like those fold up tables

    this is kinda actually how I taught myself to fishtail braid. I had a scarf with reeeally long yarn tassels and I would sit in class and braid it

    I never can figure out how to grab hair with one hand full of braid and grabbing random sections. I see people making French braids across the top or around sides and it’s pretty but how do you section the add in pieces? Just hook a piece with the free hand? Thanks for the lesson bc this 58 yr old never learned. Lol

    Thats actually such a good idea omg😭!!Im not a teacher so I don’t know but for me I feel like it’d be easier for the kids to figure out and learn how to do it if each of the yarn was different colors, I got lost a couple times while watching this because I didnt know which string was which😭!!

    Instructions unclear (tried on my horses mane) now she’s standing on her two hind legs cause I had to make it vertical and she’s got a piece of rectangular card-stock paper braided in her hair

    I didnt know you cut off a section of your hair to use it to tie the rest, or that every french braid comes with a trim 😮

    If you brush out the yarn it will feel more like hair and give it a mor fluffy texture and more realistic

    • @cax_555
      @cax_555 Місяць тому

      Yes but then the yarn will get tangled and so if it is the first time you are doing this then it is best not to. Maybe after a few attempts you can try this, but not straight away

  • @EllaGaltieri

    You can also do this with the braid sits on the top - you’re just going under each time not over.

    That's all good and well, its good for showing theory ..... but doing that with hair is SO MUCH MORE DIFFICULT 😅 for some reason Dutch braiding is easier for me than a French braid 🤷‍♀️ strange but true 😂❤
