Hi Jason, thanks for the comment. I can assure you that this drill does change your path and stop from coming over the top as I demonstrated in the video. I would suggest keep it does take time especially an over the top move it can be quite ingrained and can take some work to get rid of.

@@dlgolftips, thanks for the response. I have used this drill for several years along with hundreds of hours of practicing with it no results. I can do the practice drill without coming over the top then when i hit an actual ball in my normal stance, i revert back. I am happy to be your test dummy and send you videos/clips of me practicing this drill for 2 hours a day over several months with no results?

Lack of shoulder turn isn't the only reason for over the top so....

hi great question so this is a tricky one yes the handle should move low and left but it's done in a certain way, i guess i need to make a video on this but you can have the handle exit low and left and the club still traveling to the right of target a lot of golfers try and exit low and left only to swing over the top at the beginning of the downswing which can lead to pulls and slices i'll make a note to make a video on this because it is a big subject

Hi, great question. It's just based on a fairly neutral grip for most golfers. But if you do let your arm fall into the natural hang position and place it on the grip, it will be perfect. Just make sure that when you're doing it, it is still running through the same part of the hand as mentioned in the video. People will have varying degrees, but usually not too much of a difference in the natural hang position.

Hi Paul, great question. Yes if you set up to the golf ball and turn your head slightly to the right and focus your eye on the back of the golf ball. Now as you start your downswing try and maintain focus on the back of the golf ball keeping your upper half back. If you shift your upper half too far forward you will lose sight of the dimple on the back of the ball. Obviously there are other ways which I could further cover in a video but give that a try I think that might help you out. Another good way is also hitting golf balls off an uphill lie. You'll resist the urge of leaning into the slope.

It's not easy, don't get to play a whole lot, so you're kind of just out there, you don't know what you're going to get. You can play really good, or you can play very average, obviously very rusty in the short game department, as you probably noticed from the video. But yes, the tracer, Michael was actually able to get the tracer on his. I had problems on my end, but hopefully future videos will have the shot tracer

Hi Steve, glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, this can work really well. The only thing you have to be careful with is that your hands don't get too trapped in close to your body in the downswing. That can lead to you getting stuck. But if you see it on camera and it's shallowing, well that's a good sign.
