Honestly I just think that you really can't compare the two considering they played in basically different leagues. The NBA during Jordan's reign was brutal, physical, and filled with less talent and more team oriented defense but today the NBA is filled with a larger spectrum of talent, less physicality, and a much more flashy feel to it. As well as the fact that the NBA today is much more focused on offense. Very few teams today have overall amazing team defense.

Actually KD is amazing even without Russell did you see him this year he has had 33 straight 25+ point games without Westbrook on most of them
