Just watched this episode, vendetta a few minutes ago. The way they treated Claudia, inexcusable! I was pissed in 86 and I still am in 23
Omg IKR?!?! It was completely inexcusable. I remember back in 1986, reading in one of the soap magazines that the show runners told Pamela Bellwood DO NOT GET PREGNANT! DO NOT HAVE A BABY! And Pam was like you can’t tell me what I can and can’t do with my husband in our marital bed...... and thus she did get pregnant,,,,,not by choice, but it just happened as it often does with married couples. So they show runners were really pissed at her for getting pregnant and had to write around her pregnancy,,,,,which made no sense, it would’ve been great if Claudia had had a baby, and they didn’t know if Steven or Adam was the father. That would’ve been a great opportunity for a “Who’s the father” storyline. But instead they killed her off in one of the worst ways, jut bc they were mad at Pamela. We had grown so fond of Claudia throughout the last 6-7 years and for her to die in such a horrific manner,,,,,,, AND THEN She gets no funeral or memorial?!?! Luke Fuller got more attention from the writers than Claudia did. I remember really hoping she would come back for the reunion too, along with Amanda,,,,but no such luck..

The cat fights became more lame over the years. Amanda calls Sammy Jo a pathetic little twit when SHE pushed Sammy Jo into the pool. Makes a lotta sense, but that was Dynasty around this time frame. Dumb and dumber.

It's funny Sammy Jo (Krystle's blood) and Amanda (Alexis' blood) and the hotel swimming pool (lily pond blood). This silly fight was obviously a cheap attempt to repeat the lily pond. The music here is when "Dynasty" became a parody of itself.
On what world did Amanda think she could push a person in the pool at that close proximity without being brought down herself ?
It was amazing that Sammy Jo was able to keep her high heel shoe on.
