Sonic 3 & Knuckles Retrospective - The Perfect Sonic Game
Sonic & Knuckles released shortly after Sonic the Hedgehog 3 as the 5th mainline Sonic game. However, the game had an interesting lock on feature that allowed for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 to be placed on top of Sonic & Knuckles to create the full Sonic 3 experience!

how're you gonna talk shit about 3 special stages and then call S&K amazing? its more of the same.
The music: PEAK The boss itself: PEAK The actual “fight”: PEAK Down sides: ONLY GET TO RACE HIM ONCE IN THE GAME
Personally, I wouldn't say that Sonic 3 & Knuckles is perfect. Its near perfection. It is definitely my favourite classic sonic game though. Also the blue spheres special stages are my favourite special stages in any Sonic game period. Its actually fun and not painfully difficult and hey, can't go wrong with getting blue balls (sorry I had to make that joke up).
I give The sonic 2 special stage a 3,it's cool, but it's funny how you can walk up on air

THE ACT 6 special stage gives me nightmares of hitting those spiky balls while boosting during beginning
Now don’t get me wrong, but Sonic 3D Blast was my 3rd favorite Sonic Special Stage. They’re too easy, even if they tried building up the difficulty. Also Sonic 2 is my preferred special stage alongside with Sonic 1 (frick you Sonic 3 & Knuckles, you wasted my coin)
