The way to get your joy.... is in your praise and worship. If you're not having praise and worship, you don't have the spirit of joy. See, the Bible is simple, but man complicates it. You're saying get your "joy back"... as if it comes and goes, no it's something that you have or don't have. This is the same way people teach the fruit of peace as if it comes and goes. Your peace is tied to your giving and how you handle money. Okay, this will simplify it for you. God wish for us above all things is "health and wealth".... that's it. Then he gave us the Holy Bible to help us accomplish "health and wealth." . For instance, "holy".... has been taught like it's a burden, something you don't want to do, it's boring, etc.... but holy simply means healthy. People say Holy is in the whole Bible but it's not. Holy has a beginning and a purpose. Holy is first in Exodus chapter three... and it was given to keep the xslaves safe and healthy. For instance, "Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy" could be "Remember to rest one day in seven it is healthy". Why am I bringing up holy? Because you brought up joy.... but you didn't say what joy is. And if you understand holy, you may understand joy. Again, everything in the Bible fits into health and / or wealth. Joy is one of the fruit of the spirit.... Joy is praise and worship, which is simply exercise which is healthy. That's why the joy of the Lord is your strength. You get strength from the exercise of praise. Peace is another fruit of the spirit... Peace is tied to your giving.... giving is sowing and sowing bring forth your harvest, which is your wealth. If you don't sow, you won't reap a harvest. And whatever you sow, that's what you'll reap. I studied over 400 of the verses containing the word Peace.... and I noticed about 100 of those verse went like this.... when people traveled in the Bible days, they had to take a lot of stuff and they didn't have hotels, and they had to sleep outside. Well, in order to get a peaceful sleep, they had to pay someone to watch their stuff. And really, they had no choice because your body will drop off to sleep on its own after a while. The way I study is I have a topic, and I use the Strong's Concordance of the Bible to find all the verses containing that word, I read each verse, and categorize them to get their meaning.... I've learned so much that way. I would recommend that you start with the 89-Holy Ghost verses. You'll only find them in the King James version of the Bible... all other versions have taken out the word ghost, saying it's too scary. You may look up all of the Joy verses, and you see that it's about music, singing, dancing, instruments, jumping etc. Which is praise and worship. Then make your video. Selah

I've been watching your sermons for a couple of months now because my friend who goes there really, really wants me to. Though I've never attended and I'm not a believer. At first I had a negative attitude, as I'm a trans person with people I care about who are also in the lgbt community, and we are often attacked by Christianity on a daily basis, but I decided to have an open mind despite that and just see what you were all about. Your first point today was "Talk less, listen more." I can tell you, I've done that. I listened. For months. So have many people like me. And all I felt from many of your lectures was hurt. I would hope that one day you all could do the same for people like me, and just listen to us with an open mind, without the need to "correct" us or attack us. I've honestly never had more destructive, damaging words spoken to me more than in the times listening to you all, and this sermon ironically is going to be the reason I stop listening. I'm not angry or mad, I just hope that maybe this gives you a little insight on how you guys are perceived outside of your bubble, because I'm telling you, people are looking in weather you realize it or not.
