Wood Pigeon (Keraru) feeding in the back yard
Native to New Zealand, this wood Pigeon landed in a blossoming tree in our back yard and had a nice feed from it, it seemed quite happy for me to film it, enjoy!

I've been playing with the latest AI because I'm bombarded by people trying to sell me it at work. In my experience, it's a weird mix of very clever and also not actually good enough for anything of reasonable quality. I fear that it's just the latest hype train and is distracting from more valuable ML.
Nice little idea. I'm considering buying one of these for the same reason. It's just too much hassle carrying my DSLR, lenses and other gubbins on the bike.

Is there a difference in top speed between the 90 hp merc and the df115 ?
There's a difference of about 7 to 9km, 90 merc would do 38mph (61kmph) the 115 suzuki 42mph (68kms), you can see the difference in speed on the original review, the difference driving it is considerably faster than the Merc

I use the 3 meter selfie stick and a clamp on the crash bars and tape attached to the mirror with it extended out in front of the bike
Are NZ blackbirds different to British? It looks much more like a British Mistle Thrush whose nest and eggs are very similar to Blackbirds Beautiful, well made video Thank you
The New Zealand female blackbirds can be mistaken for a Thrush which is what I first thought she was when we discovered the nest in the grape vine, the male birds a much darker, unfortunately I wasn't able to catch a shot of the male, he was always around but very flighty seemed to be a bit camera shy, thanks for your comment

No not changed propeller, we tried three different propellers when the motor was first fitted to the boat to get the right one.
Whats the difference between the Suzuki 90hp and the 115hp besides the price? Suzuki website shows the outboards to have the same exact specs. Bore and stroke, displacement, weight and everything. Trying to find out, because if it's true, then the 115 is a waste of money.
Hi Captain Ron, I'm not sure where you got your information but the 90hp is a significantly different motor to the 115, it is the same motor as the 140hp, the 140 has a larger displacement giving it a slight edge over the 115. I've added a couple of links for you to see the difference in specs, when we brought the motor Suzuki were running a special on the 115BTL so it was a pretty reasonable deal, no money wasted on the 115 for us. Bird hatching in plain winter and grapes not rip yet! In which part of the world is this?
New Zealand, December is early summer hear, we think this was the second nesting for the season, there were a pair of black birds with young around in the spring and we are pretty sure this is the same pair.

My Uncle drove them many years back..his name was Pat Ruscoe..lived in New Plymouth,drove them down to a changeover,not sure where think it may have been Marton or Palmerston Nth. then drove the other one back to New Plymouth....I know at Aramoho they stopped for refreshments...a long time ago now.

Blackbirds nesting in December and January? Which part of the world are you in?
I live New Zealand, it was a bit later than normal, usually nesting around August September which is spring time here, I did read that blackbirds can have tow or three lot in a season so my guess is this wasn't there first nest of the season.

Hi Kevin, I just road tested my Synco G2 A2 mics today witn Insta360 X3. Had the very same problems at speed The audio wan't usable at all. Did you find a good lav mic in the end that you can recommend? Subsequesntly, I'm probably not far from you. I'm in the Rangitikei district. Former Goldwinger too. Currently have a Valkyrie Interstate and a rather rare Honda Rune.

I asked to early into the video you launched at Glen nui 😊 I just got my first boat and have taken it to patea dam hurleyville way but it is 1 hour and a half drive Glen nui might be closer 😊
If you are coming from New Plymouth Glen Nui is a lot closeer than going to the patea dam
