Tried this and did not work, so I tried code 01 NOT 1 and it changed my remote address.

My receiver doesn't have "system info button" how in the hell do I get to that screen.?? I only have up, down & power button on my bell expressvu 3100 receiver....
Purchased bell remote on buy , sell trade group and dont work on my existing 4100 Sd bell reciever. Power button when pressed VCR button light red. How to reprogram this? Thanks
Just keep trying with diffrent numbers if you did not solve in one year. Literally just got anothet 6.4 ir/uhf remote on my 4100. My grandfather wears throuhh remotes supprisingly fast.

Armando...Muy buena y clara tu explicación en Ingles. Por fin entendí la forma de programar el control remoto para una consola en particular. Mi pregunta ahora, como hacer de manera eficiente lograr el reseteo, o mejor dicho encontrar el satélite para obtener los canales. .Cambié / baje el equipo a un cuarto de planta baja y se me ha hecho imposible resetearlo nuevamente.
